  2. no, not with a live axle :freakin_nuts: The only way you can run cutting brakes on these type of cars is if you run the reverse box which has a diff built in. Like this---> click here
  3. Awesome, Mike! Thanks for putting that together! Makes me wanna go to the dunes.
  4. Short Sand Cars...they are up near Salt Lake City. Larry was doing some work on the Rhino. I think it was his.
  5. 450 miles and 6 hours later.... unloaded at home.... :freakin_nuts: YEP...I'M HAPPY
  6. pics.... picking it up yesterday... Me and Larry Duniemonkie waiting while Larry mounts the foot rest in the custom location just for her. Levi (Larry and Nannette's son), fabricator I've been waiting for this day! :freakin_nuts: more pics to come...just a sec
  7. Just got home! Damn...driving a thousand miles in about a day and a half is draining! :freakin_nuts: The lowers are just some 50W Lazer Star type lights. The upper lights are the Super White Halogen driving lights. I'll have to see how they work. I was having issues with the HID's on the last car with it killing the ignition because of the high amperage draw when turned on. (Hayabusa's don't have an alternator, but a rather week stator ) Because of this I chose the Halogens instead. I didn't want any problems and didn't wanna have to mount those damn remote ballasts either. I don't drive that much at night anyways, but they should be sufficient. I did like the HID when I had them. They worked awesome. I'll post some more pics in a minute.
  8. Well I picked her up! Pictures do this car NO JUSTICE. Holy crap. It's bada$$. I can't wait to get out to D. It came out NICE!! Here's crappy pic from my phone. I'll post up more tomorrow when I get home. BTW....Utah sucks! At least our hotel is nice as hell and has internet! Time for us to go eat, get a few drinks with a friend that lives up here and then REEELAX. Damn...I'm not gonna be able to go to sleep tonight without running out and checking the car out every 10 minutes.
  9. 8 cup Kings Turbo Paddle That's if you were talking about a Honda 250 DIRTBIKE.
  10. Well you already know my opinion, but Mutha Bitchezzz!!! That car is sick!
  11. :no_no: maybe, but it's not gonna be ME! :no_no: :surrender:
  12. You might be able to make it way easier if you just had one or two people at the dumpster with a clipboard and just asked every person that turns in a bag if they are from DDR and how many bags they have. The truck and trailer thing might be a good idea to get them from the dunes area over to the dumpster but all the people that threw there bags on the trailer and in the trucks will have to stick with them or follow them over to the dumpster so they could get there raffle tickets. That seems like the easiest method.
  13. I was recently contacted by a certain photographer covering the cleanup event and was asked if I could get everyone together so we can get a shot of all the peeps of DDR for a picture. Last year we had a last minute pic of SOME of the DDR peeps snapped by Cathi at Suspensions Unlimited. This year can be even better if we can get everyone together that is going out. There should be quite a few. You never know where the pic might show up too. :surrender: So let's do this....after trash pickup is over but BEFORE the food and prizes begin, let's meet near the cleanup event at 11:30 AM. I will try and see if ynot can announce it over the PA to remind everyone if that is possible. :shout: If I can I'll put a DDR banner up near the event so everyone has a location to meet at. It will be really quick and I ask for EVERYONE from DDR that will be at the cleanup to please come stop by and get in the photo. Thanks in advance! -Pete
  14. Kelly my truck isn't going anywhere away from camp this trip. It's staying hooked to my hauler. Who knows what could happen if I leave camp with it. I might get a reckless driving ticket if it's driven in the sand again. Trucks in the sand are a no no! As for helping with the number of bag count, I'll do my best but last year my head almost exploded from running around trying to keep track of ever damn DDR member in the area and how many stupid bags they collected. Maybe this year there will more help and I won't have to do it all on my own. I'm not gonna stress about it like last year...especially for a plastic trophy. Have I mentioned that I'm over it yet? yeah..I'm over it. I really just wanna go out and have some fun.
  15. Actually just a regular ol "Stiffy" whip. I'm pretty simple like that. Who knows...maybe I'll order a more SMURFY flag one day!
  16. It won't really hurt that bad. I just hate pulling cash outta the bank. They are taking really good care of me on many of the options I added along the way on the new car. Did I mention....I can't wait?
  17. It's running!!! All they really have to do is mount the pedal assemblies, but they are gonna wait till I get there so they can mount them according to my needs. They are gonna try and get some pics today of the additional progress. Time for the part that is gonna hurt...going to the bank.
  18. Don't get too excited...they aren't that fancy.
  19. Evidently not sometimes. Ken as much as I want to say that second sentence in some posts, there are rules. I appreciate you explaining furthermore what I meant to RICHARDCHEESE, but I don't think he is gonna understand what we are trying to tell him. I really don't even have the energy to keep about this. I'm really tired of the internet arguing on here lately.
