Well if there is a grey area regarding the flags on 2 wheelers, then the BLM ranger was unaware of that who rushed over to a friend of mine missing a flag on Saturday at comp. Maybe they just so happen to overlook these 2 whatever they are: blm, sheriff office personal, or whatever. I was under the inpression EVERY bike that is ridden at Dumont (whether it be on the flats or on the dunes)...needs a flag.

I, myself, am able to overlook the petty little things (like a flag) that Rangers do wrong as soon as they do the same for us and concentrate on the more serious issues at hand. I have the utmost respect for the rangers depsite my little run-in with them over the weekend. It's gonna be hard to keep that respect though if they start acting like hypocrits.

Terry, I have no problem with them having fun, but aren't they there to keep an eye on things? How can they do that when they are duning their bikes up the hill or drag racing their trucks? I bet the chit would hit the fan if somebody was in need of assistance or something happened where they were needed to respond to it and they were out having fun instead of being there for the public.
