I agree, Dave. Even though Anna & I don't plan on ever having kids, it IS sad that today's kids won't ever get to enjoy the simple things in life like most of us did. It seems that everything these days has to be high tech or illegal to be cool to kids. What ever happened to a good ol game a capture the flag or kick the can?? Kids these days would probably laugh at such games. I feel lucky to have grown up in a time where such simple things were fun. Damn, I guess I am getting old since I can reply like this. 1st sign of getting old........^^^ THAT -
I don't think you heard everyone right. We go there for the SAND, not the strippers. Do some people not appreciate the simplicity of friends and cold beers around a fire? I bet half the people around that scene don't even go duning. Damn wannabe duner posers.

Can I get a sticker? huh huh huh? How about a shirt? Do you have any of those? What colors do you have? How about long sleeve? Man a hat would sure be nice too Got any beanies????

Nope...it's the following weekend, Woody.
-
Congrats on the new addition.

I love going over to comp at night to party, listen to some music, share some laughes with friends, watch the hill shooting action of the buggies, and for the most part...just have a good time in the sand because that's what I am there for. That right there is enough for me. No stripper pole required.
-
well here's the first chic that comes to mind for me...

Hey Sam it's all good. Misunderstandings, jokes, whatever...let's all raise our mugs now cause the Friday afternoon drama is over! I'll be looking for you out there at the hill over Prez weekend. Keep an eye out for my truck. I just might have an ice cold refreshment for ya so we can shoot da chit. OK, mang?

Hey Dave, I heard from OGP that Don postponed his next trip to the following weekend of the 9th-11th.
-
Hey Sam, just to clafify, "Razor Back Hill"- is that considered Comp Hill to most Dumont goers? and also... that "please pickup your trash" banner for the 4 Stroke Wars event is in the works. The artwork has been dropped off and the banner is being worked on. I should have the banner sometime next week. I don't know if I can do a whole weekend that weekend (3 back-to-back can get pretty pricey), but I'll do my best to be there one of the days on Saturday or Sunday. If for some reason I can't I'll make sure this banner gets to you or someone who is going out.

There is a time and place for strippers, nudity, and drunken times..... it's called Thirsty Thursday. j/k

Speaking of votes...let's start a new one....Should this thread get closed?
-
I have a question for some of you LS1 rail owners. Someone I know is working on an LS1 in a buggy and hooking up an Auto Meter oil pressure gauge. The thread size for the stock oil sender is not like an old small block size oil sender. It is much larger and uses a washer to seal against the block instead of the tapered threads like on the older ones. My question is this... What kind of adapter are you using for the Auto Meter sender? and Is your oil sender in the factory location oil pressure port at the top/rear of the motor? I know there are some LS1 guys out there that might know...

In the summer months it can still get a little warm (in the 90's). The only time the campground sites get fully booked and the meadow (open camping area) gets crowded are Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend. The dunes don't ever get that congested though due to the smaller amount of visitors that go there compared to Dumont or Glamis.

No...not really. I just don't have much news as of yet. DDR ride
