Well since nobody else is gonna step up, I guess I will. I will gladly get the trash-pickup banner done up as long as I get a little financial help to pay for the banner. I can probably also make the setup to mount the banner on my truck like we talked about in the comp trash cleanup thread. I don't have a problem helping out as long as this doesn't turn into all of us DDR peeps picking up the trash left over by the hill shooters. Sam, I'll do whatever I can to get some peeps over to help pickup trash if there is any, but I think the biggest thing to focus on is to not litter the area in the first place. Along with the banner to remind everyone to keep their trash in bags, everyone pickup after themselves, and maybe go around handing out trash bags to everyone in the area...it shouldn't be to big of an issue to deal with. Maybe if we (DDR) all step up and help out with the trash issue (if there is one) at this event, we can have the event organizers put some DDR banners somewhere in plain site near all the racing action to plug the site??

Sam, I'm kinda confused here. Which races are going to be held at Dumont other than the second one which is obvious?

I was just curious if anyone had any old pics from many many trips ago. The oldest pics I have are like 03 and that's not very old. my Raptor (when almost new), sanddunesaddict on his Raptor, friend (Jim in white buggy), and Stephan in the yellow buggy... friend, Stephan, in his buggy (thought it was a pretty cool pic) Stephan and Dave Larson in the background Post up any old Dumont pics you might have. I think it's cool to see Dumont back in the day of 3 wheelers and Volkswagon rails well before the high dollar long travel rails of today came out. But I don't have any that old. I started going to Dumont in 98 but didn't even start taking pics till about 03.

Sorry for your loss. I didn't know him but he seems like he was a pretty cool guy who was fun to be around.

Here are some things that we can use if anyone wants to bring...(just some suggestions) -gas logs (for outdoor fireplace) -any kind of finger food, crock pot w/ lil smokies or meatballs, etc -meat tray/ cheese tray -Christmas cookies, brownies, or any other holiday sweets/ munchies -booze, booze and more booze and anything else that would be a good christmas-oriented drink or food- bring it!
