  3. OOOPS!!! :ahhhhh: still..."f*ck that?" :fart: what would be the point of saying that on the back of a car?
  4. Not sure what programmer it was on the truck that smoked the motor- it was taken off before it was brought into the dealership. As for the pyro, I didn't do it myself. But like AlligatorP said- it's not hard. I just didn't have the time to do it myself.
  5. already been talked about....twice.... http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...?showtopic=2637 http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...?showtopic=2638
  6. Talk to Josey at Sick Sand Travel- he did mine.
  7. well, duniemonkie doesn't have NewYears day off, so the dunes aren't gonna work for us. I'll be out that weekend, but I'm coming back into town Sunday AM. and yeah I hear ya, last New Years was nasty out there.
  8. I agree with most everyone when they say the LBZ (07 DMax) doesn't need any more power. In my opinion, the LLY programmed is just a tad more peppier than the LBZ stock. Keep it stock and see how it does- I know you'll be happy as it sits.
  9. :ahhhhh: ...yeah, an eco-mutha-bitchezzz nazi!!!! :fart:
  10. I see how it is! :ahhhhh: As for the strip....screw that crap! Back in the day it was all good, but the way things have gotten down there the last few years for new years.... no way. We're staying far away from that scene. I say we get some good peeps together either at a bar or one of our places and just have some good ol laughs, lots of , and good times! RK...did you say strippers? :fart:
  11. You haven't seen Fear and Loathing??? :ahhhhh: come onnnnn!!!!
  12. That's sad news to hear. They definitely will be remembered as standup people that helped save lifes. My condolences to the families and friends of them...
  13. I can't wait! Just another day or so! This should be gooood times this weekend.
  14. this is true.... but to answer your question....here is a true story General Motors put out a bulletin a while back for 01-06 models. I was working on a 2500HD w/ a Duramax engine that had a hole in the piston and cylinder damage. The engine had to be replaced due to the damage. We are required to call into GM for approval prior to any engine assembly be replaced. When I described the damage, they could tell that the damage was directly a result from an aftermarket add on power programmer. They declined the repairs under warranty and the customer forked out over $11,000 for a new engine. Here is a small part of the bulletin that deals with this.... I am not saying that the programmers VOID the warranty all together, but if you have repairs that are needed as a result of damage caused by the prgrammer- GM will not warranty it. You just have to be carefull when adding one. I myself have a programmer on my truck. No you don't need one, but the extra power is nice. I have an EGT gauge (pyrometer) to moniter exhaust temperatures- very important when adding a tuner to a diesel. It is true that when you bring it in for service, you should take the programmer off. This way if they have to re-flash (reprogram/ update) the PCM you won't lose your programming.

Please pm or e-mail me about the stickers. It's hard to keep track of who wants what when the requests are buried in several posts all over the forum. :freakin_nuts: I am out of those in white though right now.
  16. I hear what you're saying here ^, but I can't see how Hondas at Dumont are contributing to the dunes being closed down. The money going to Honda for these bikes or motors doesn't seem like it would make any difference. Besides, I think it is a Honda dealership that sponsored the event, not Honda as a company.
  17. maybe, but nothing like the numbers that T-Day or Pres. Day brings in.
  18. yeah...that's it. Yank the motor out of your rail and spend thousands and countless hours to switch over to a motor that probably doesn't even add up to the one you have now to make a point that we don't support the Sierra Club! Come on, Jason! That isn't gonna change anything.
  19. He'll definitley be missed. He was one funny guy. That guy always cracked me up. from Yahoo news
