:smoker: Hey, I never said that's all I liked...that's all it was looking like we had! For that impromtu potluck, we STILL had to much food!
-
well, it wasn't really a food FIGHT. I was the only one with the ammo. :surrender:
-
oh yeah.... -"DON'T BE A HATER!" :surrender: -"BIG FAN!!!"

more observations.... -you don't get very far at night in a Rhino with no gas and a dead battery , but it still makes for good times. Hey RhinoKing & JoeDuner, thanks for finally coming back for me and mfdesigns! -rhino king in a pink elephant thong... :surrender: but good times- that chit was funny! -KJ's nick name is now KT -country music and comp hill don't mix -some firewood is worth hanging on to: "Wilson!!!!" -"hey, who's throwin rocks at me??!!!...wait...wtf, that was a hamburger!" -rebar bandits! -$500 heat isn't worth sh*t unless you turn BOTH propane bottles on and have a full charged battery. -I think sanddunesaddict likes working on sandrails at the dunes. Even without his rail there he still managed to change out 4 CV's on OGP's car and get dirty. -JoeDuner really really really wants a Funco now!

Rangers are always out there, even on the off weekends just not as many.

It wasn't deleted, but only set invisible by a mod. It's back up now. We could beat this thread into the ground with "I would do this or you should do that". Let's just take extra caution next time on the flats...speeding or not.
-
cool, thanks. I'll update the homepage then. :surrender:
-
how bout this? :surrender:
-
OR...just go on the off weekends when less of them are out there.

Well I wasn't about to go to jail for beating up a kid! :surrender: You've got that turned around. Don was saying the kid's dad got punked. The kid ran off to get his daddy because he couldn't have an adult conversation with us. Then we found out we couldn't have one with his dad EITHER!

How does that post sound edgy? You are reading that wayyyy wrong. All i said was "strutten my stuff? What are you talking about?" It was merely a question. There is some serious miscommunication going on in here. :surrender:

Ross, as ISBB said, all I was doing was reminding everyone of the rules before it went too far. You must have read that wrong because I never got mad. Didn't you see the " :ahhhhh: " smiley in just about every post since the rooster you posted? And don't read this as if it is written in an "unchill" attitude. I am actually REALLY CHILL right now. B) Ross, anyone that knows me knows I, of all people, have a sense of humor. :fatdance:

Aaron, was that the yellow buggy in your group? Punked? Uhh no, not really :ahhhhh: ...so here goes the story.... I believe it was Saturday. Early that morning I woke up to the sound of a camp racer on a quad right outside my toyhauler going back and forth for what seemed like forever. I peeked out the window and watched this kid, probably like 14 yrs old, standing one foot on the grab bar and one on the seat riding wheelies back and forth past my trailer. He kept this up throughout the day. Me and chris1223 stood there in frustration and finally decided to ask the kid to stop. We walked out and said, hey do you mind taking that out into the dunes or stopping all together? The kid said "why?" I then not only explained the rules of speed limits etc, but also that it was disrespectful because it caused dust, was unsafe to do in the camp area, etc. The kid told me he didn't have to stop and that he was gonna keep on doing it because he wasn't breaking any rules. It escalated pretty quick when I said "ok, well I'll go get a ranger and bring him over here to explain the rules to you." He said "fine do that." There were a bunch more words exchanged and it only became a screaming match at each other at that point. The funniest part of the story was when this little kid got off his quad and steps up to me saying "what are you gonna do about it?" I said, "not a damn thing- I'll go to jail if I do the slightest thing. You are a minor." The kid gets back on his quad & charges at me, I step out of the way & kick his back tire as he goes by. Thinking "ok, whatever let's just deal it and it's over"....NO, his dad comes hauling a$$ over on a quad and gets in my face yelling at me to not kick his kids bike and that he wasn't doing anything wrong. I said "you don't know the half of the story". We continued alot. I even tried explaining the rules to him. I was getting pretty pissed off, as were the rest of the 10-15 peeps that had my back behind me. :fatdance: After cooling myself down , I dropped it and somehow we ended it all before me or one of the tres hermanos went to blows with him. I definitley didn't want THAT drama. This guy was completely unaware of the speed limit in camp and told me that "you have to put cones up if you want people to slow down next to your camp". It's just too bad that people like this are out there. This may be my last big holiday weekend for a while or all together. I just like to go out there, relax, and have a good time without dealing with people like this. I know this is why many people camp way out on the edge, but I hate to have to change up our camp spot just because of these kinds of people. I think I might be skipping the big weekends for now on, I'll have to wait and see.

Wow....looks like a blast up there! Sweet pics. Thanks for posting them up.

Nice! Hopefully your fuel station lasts longer than Don29Palms'. His went out first trip (last weekend).

strutten my stuff? What are you talking about? All I was doing was keeping the rules enforced before the limits got pushed. :fatdance:

All in all it was a fun, relaxing trip for me. I didn't get too much duning in, but that was expected. The rides I did get in were really fun though with good peeps. It was cool to meet some new DDR faces and see the familair ones too. :ahhhhh: The nightime fun at comp was great. Some good laughs were had, especially when Rhino King had a "wardrobe malfunction." He got just about butt naked and ran around with the famous pink elephant g-string on. I think he was inspired by the wacko in the bra and thong on the quad that was riding all over comp. Thanksgiving dinner: AWESOME! It was one of the best Thanksgivings I have had. We had ALOT of food and some really good peeps to sit down to dinner with. :fatdance: It was nice meeting and camping with Jeff (crawlinxj) and his family. Some bad news however...Friday afternoon crawlinxj broke his back on a quad ride. He was out with his family and wheelied down a little dune and G'd out at the bottom compressing his lower back. He went limp and also ran over his leg. It was a very scary moment for his family as he went out of consciousness for a short bit. They took him off to Barstow by ambulance and then transferred him to Colton hospital where he had surgery I think yesterday. I hope he recovers well and quickly. He was in alot of pain as of Saturday. I'll get some pics up soon.

I pulled out of Dumont today and stopped at the ranger station. I asked the rangers if there were any fatalities and they said NOPE- NO fatalities. That was really good to hear.

Yeah, that chit was annoying. Like she would be able to taste the difference anyways. I said I'd make breakfast, then as I sit there hungry as hell watching her pick out each and every one of em I wanted to choke her!!!!...... COME ON!!!!!! -
oh ok, I figured there was only enough gravy for the taters.
