  1. Damn, this guy should just be happy he's alive rather than b*tching the woman out behind the wheel of the car that hit him.
  2. The reason I was curious was so I could post it in the permit section on the home page whether or not they are available from Western Maint at the pay station.
  3. Has anybody been able to buy an 07 OHV sticker (the non-resident permit sticker) from the pay station yet? Are they available yet? Last I heard they wouldn't be available till after December.
  4. Generous? Hell no! I meant would he take 200 bucks for the car? You wanna sell me your car for $200 too? Sweet...2 badass cars for $400!
  5. Damn...I'd be all over that if I had the cash. (wait..did I just sound like Midnight? ) I'd sooo take it if he wants to give it away too. Will he take two hundred bucks? What's with the paddle-trak tires in the rear? With that much HP those tires aren't gonna do sh*t. Maybe they are just so he can load it in a trailer or something, but on beadlocks? hmm Hey Don, check it out...purple! Badass car though...FO SHO!
  6. Effen Don. No kidding though! I can't wait. Like Stacey said, it might be a nice for a change to have a kinda smaller group this trip. Having to ride the quad to the fire and back is just rediculous! Either way...good times!

  8. OK, if you don't have enough I was maybe just gonna use tabasco.
  9. ok, Jeff. Here is my truck and trailer... Don29Palms.... and OGP has almost the same truck as me and a Trailrider toyhauler that is basically identical to Dons Rampage. I should be rolling in sometime Wednesday afternoon.
  10. Jim, what was that? what? huh? what? what? I did it last time and it sucked to have to set the alarm to wake up. Hungover or not, I'd rather not have to wake up at a certain time. It's too much like waking up for work.
  11. Really all I need to know is when to take this turkey out of the freezer so it is defrosted in time. We'll be deep frying it on Thursday and today is Saturday. Should I take it out now, let it completely thaw, then just keep it in the fridge till Thurs? Also: any tips on prepping it? This will be my first time cooking a bird.
  12. sounds like a plan, Dave 4 days/ 4 nights- no excuse!
  13. I am looking to pick up some firewood this weekend for Thankgiving weekend. I don't want to pay an outrageous amount of cash for some, so has anyone seen any laying around or maybe cut a tree down and they need it out of their yard? Also, anyone from our group bringing any out? It's gonna be chilly at night so I hope we are prepared.
  14. The weather is looking NICE for Tday week.
  15. Here is about where Tecopa is on the map you posted... Take a look at this map...click here If you are coming from Vegas here are the directions going the Tecopa way... Take 160 towards Pahrump. After you go over Mt Springs, continue down 160 (downhill for a ways, then a slight uphill small grade). Look for the Tecopa turnoff to the left. Stay on that until you go through Tecopa and then eventually hit HWY127 at a stopsign. Turn left and take that about 15-20 miles I believe. Then turn left on the gravel rd (Dumont Dunes Rd). There will be a sign. "Dumont Dunes" pointing to the left shortly before the turn. Hope this helps. Going through Baker is a little smoother and straighter, but it takes longer.
  16. Mike, I wasn't (and I don't think anyone else was either) putting down his specific car. Kenny asked about input on the Ecotec motor and we all gave our opinions on it, not Todd's car. That was all. I re-read the posts and nowhere could I find where someone said anything bad about Todd's car or about Todd not being honest. All I said was that seems like alot of car for that little motor is all. It may run great, but from what I heard AND seen those Ecotecs run on the slow side. I have also been told by owners of them that you have to run the sh*t out of them if they are in a bigger car like the one he is selling. that's all. My Hayabusa runs awesome and makes plenty of power, but I wouldn't put it in a 4 seater. I wish him luck with the sale. It looks like a sweet a$$ car.

    PS3

What's the big effen deal with this thing? I have seen all the crap all over the news: people getting robbed of their PS3 money , almost shot, camping out in front of stores for 3 days. Get a life people!! I even heard that one is up to 15,000 on Ebay? dumba$$es! Just wait two years and see what the pieces of crap are worth then. It will be like a Nintendo. :redhat:
  18. Hi Mike, you made some good points, BUT (1) Joe Duner isn't really trying to sell his car. Everything he has is always for sale. He's just that kind of guy. He is just only looking out for his buddy, Kenny (rhino king). Joe has had alot of sandrails and has a lot of buddies who have sandrails. He wouldn't lie to him about something just to try and sell his car. When you think of it, toddk is doing the same thing as Joe. He is selling his car and giving his opinion as well. The car might run really well. All Ecotecs are different. They are built by different builders, some have turbos and some don't, some are takin care of and some aren't. The Ecotec in todd's car may in fact run really well. I am sure Joe was just speaking from his experience. He has alot of it. (2) RK IS doing all his own research. I have found that first (or even second) hand experience is the best form of advice. Many of us have friends that go to the dunes and know from there experiences, not just from our own. We wouldn't say the Ecotec is garbage unless we didn't know owners that have had em. I'm not trying to stir up an arguement here. I just want to let you know that most of everyone who has posted up here are friends w/ RK and wouldn't give him any BS answers or input. It sounds like Todd's car runs really well...unlike most Ecotecs. We are all just speaking from experiance. Whatever you do, Kenny, I hope you find a car that suits your style. ...which usually invovles stars and fruity colors. j/k
  19. Lucky bastid I'm thinking of doing the same.
  20. I thought I knew who you were talking about till I read the quote, then I was like WTF? Don't be startin any trouble now
  21. I'm with you, Jeff. I don't like schedules. It's like cel phones at Dumont- we don't need em. We could say this: 2PM ride time Fri & Saturday for the buggies and if anyone from the site wants to meet up for a quad/bike ride, just come by and we'll go!
