So are we unloading the stuff into a house or storage uniot as you posted earlier? Either way, I'll give you a hand. Did somebody say cooler full of beer?
  2. Actually yeah. Any and all DDR stickers, hats, etc that I have will be out there. They might even be for sale at Alligator Performance's booth at vendor row to make things easier. I'll keep everbody posted. Until then, all the DDR stuff is always in my hauler anyways.
  3. UPDATED: BIKES (quads, 2 wheelers, etc): Saturday Oct 28th, meet at our camp @ 10AM. SANDRAIL RUN: Saturday Oct 28th, meet at our camp @ 2PM. Who's invited?: Anyone from this site that wants to meet up for a ride. I should have the DDR banner up in plain view this time for everyone to find us! ----------------------------------------------------- Let's open the discussion up for time, place to meet up, etc. I say let's just have everyone meet up at the "DDR staff camp". Most of the peeps from the site are camping in their normal big-holiday-weekend spots. It's hard to meet up at the bottom of the face hill, as we have tried this before. We get over there, sit for 20-30 minutes and we don't know who the hell is just there hanging out at the bottom of the hill or who is there from DDR to meet up. We usually get a pretty big group to meet up there, but it's most of the peeps from our camp. How bout we just have whoever wants to meet up for a ride, just meet up at our campsite? Here is approximately where we'll be.... I will more than likely have the DDR banner up and out in plain view. If not, just look for all the DDR stickers on the trucks and trailers in camp. So what does everyone think? Good idea? If so, what about the time? When is good for everyone? Also...I say we do 2 different rides. One for bikes/quads, one for sandrails. Bikes pick different lines than rails making the ride less enjoyable for the sandrail guys.
  4. I'll post a map and start a thread for it. Just gimme a sec. :shocked2:
  5. Ken can fix that for pretty cheap and do a good job. I wouldn't even d*ck with insurance since it will probably be cheaper than your deductible. It sounds like you are pretty close to where we work too. (He works at the dealership I am at in the Auto Mall.)

Why haven't you just called me and asked me for help, Nick? You post it on DDR like it's your last ditch effort. I'll give you a hand unloading, fool. You know that. All ya gotta do is pick up the phone. ...or shoot me a pm. :shocked2:
  7. What, do you WANT to pay sales tax?
  8. Well if your sh*t is broke, then your NOT driving . :bash: Well you were about 6 cars back, how could I see you? I meant the guy right behind me when I am leading. The person right in front of you should have noticed you broke down on that ride, BaBert. There's been times where you would be so far ahead from the end of the pack, you wouldn't notice they were gone too. come on!!! :dunce:
  9. Let's start a thread for it. I'd say just meet up at our camp if you guys want. It's usually easiest that way. In the past we have met up at the bottom of the big face hill on the left, but on big weekends when you get over there you don't know who is there from DDR and who is just hanging out and riding. I'll start a thread for it.
  10. Chile sounds good, Scott. I doubt anyone will wanna disconnect their toyhauler from their truck just to tow you into camp, but you could just camp somewhere nearby and that should do. What do ya think?
  11. Yeah I remember you mentioning that before. :shocked2: That's purdy sh*tty. I won't ever leave a duner behind. It might take me a couple dunes to figure out they aren't behind me, but we've gotta stick together out there and help each other out. Usually you will need another buggy and friends to help you get back. Oh yeah..one more thing. If you are waiting for a friend to go get something in camp, a cold beer usually helps pass the time. :dunce:
  12. Sorry to hear that, Cole. It's exact reasons like those why I don't shop at most shops & dealerships in town. They seem to have a pretty sh*tty attitude and outlook on the customer service. I will go out of my way and yes, even inconvienance myself, to NOT shop at these places. You are right with saying they(us) will just shop online. That is what I do already. It was nice to know that you were able to hook us up while you could and we appeciate what you did for DDR while you were able to. Thanks for sticking up for us. I don't know what else they want us to do to prove we are an "official group" of riders instead of just a website, but it doesn't matter what they think or believe. In the beginning DDR was only a website, but it has grown into a rather large GROUP of riders. If they don't want our business, well then screw em. I'll just order my Yamaha sh*t online through BikeBandit and my aftermarket stuff from RockyMountain like I am already used to doing. I am with Terry about the other Yamaha dealers in town. I have had some really bad dealings with them and refuse to go in there even for a bottle of oil. Again, thanks to you Cole for your hard work and dedication to DDR. We're glad to have dedicated members like yourself who are glad to be part of a GROUP. Good luck with the job. In time, you'll land one that fits you perfectly. You are a good guy. :shocked2:
  13. As I said..... There are places to buy them on that page^^^ And yes, they are honorad in UT as well.
  14. EDDDDIIIEEEE :dunce: That's funny. :shocked2:
  15. Don...I know it was your opinion and you are entitled to that. There is a way of saying things without name calling like this... No, Mike...it was mostly directed at Don.
  16. How many times have I asked you guys to keep your drama off this site!?? There will be no personal attacks or bashing of companies here on DDR. I am not taking any sides. All you have to say is that you wouldn't recommend the place. This kind of behavior is not tolerated on here and you know that!
  17. I thought it would help people be more prepared nest time they go out in their rail if we started a list of helpfull things to have on a buggy ride just in case you break. ratchet straps: They come in handy if you break a suspenion component. You can usually (on a long travel car), ratchet one wheel all the way up and drive back on three wheels. zip ties: they work great for some small repairs duck tape: you know duck tape works for everything bottled water: I found this out to be handy when you run low in the middle of the dunes Thans Don29Palms tow strap: obvious one here. :dunce: Super Strapp brand tow straps work the best. basic tools: screwdriver, pliers, adj. end wrench, etc. Those soft tool bag seem to work great. I still need to get one of those.
  18. I know, I think of that joke EVERY time corn-on-the-cob comes up in conversation. ok....I'll be bringing corn-all-together. yyyyyyeah
  19. Well if they wouldn't be coming, how would they get it there then? Why do you say this Don? It seems just about everyone who said they were bringing something last potluck showed up with what they said they were. Even if they don't, we ALWAYS have way too much food. I'm not worried about it.
  20. OK, we now have an official Halloween banner I made up. Don, I'll add it to your post in the beginning of this thread. :dunce: I can't wait for some night time fun at comp!
  21. Yeah Anna and woke up to the sound of some crazy shiat...then we figured out that it was hail. That was crazy. I was kinda worried about my trucks out front if it was really bad hail, but then again what was I gonna do if it was? So I just went back to bed.
  22. I'd say it has officially become a tradition. They work out great every time. It seems a bunch of DDR are camping in their normal spots for Halloween, but that doesn't mean they can't cruise over to where we are camping with something to add to the potluck and hang out for some good grubbin and night time fun. Let's do it! Post up what you can bring. I'll bring the corn on the cob and Hawaiian rolls.
