  1. Well, last weekend we were just before crapper #6 with a big ol circle. I think I saw that toyhauler with the Best Muffler sticker. I think that was the camp just over a bit towards the finger from us. It was great meeting you guys too, Jeff. You're a bunch of of cool cats yourselves. welcome to DDR
  2. Lookin good, barneycar!
  3. wwwwwwhat? If you feel wierd cause you don't know anyone, just ask for me. I'll say hi and introduce you to the peeps in the DDR camp. It's been known to happen just about every dune trip since the board was created. "Hey where's Pete/ dunefreak? I'm so and so..."..."oh hey whats up...." I guess it's my job as prez.
  4. Cool We'll save you a spot on the "inner circle" if you want, Gerald. What day are you getting there? Do you know where we'll be? Along the last finger somewhere around here...
  5. Actually yes...it was a nice HUGE, round circle this time along with some semi circles surrounding camp as well.
  6. Oh that's you. What's up, bud. Glad you signed up. Sorry, what was your name again...was it Jeff? Too many names too remember!
  7. I tried looking it up in the NADA guide...nothing...no Dunes, Baja, OR Curtis Indutries. NADA Guide
  8. YES, every year people load up their trucks and Rhinos, etc with kids and go camp to camp trick or treating. We usually get about 5-10 groups that come around to our camp and have candy and stuff ready for them. This year I might have some DDR stickers to add to the stuff to pass out.
  9. Curtis Industries Makes Baja/ Dunes...same thing. My old Baja toyhauler said "Baja" on the title. My bank was able to look up the value somehow, I am not sure how though. I'll see if I can find out how.
  10. The first few miles of it off the highway are paved, but it still turns into sand/ dirt. It is not too bad, but I will still refuse to take my toyhauler down it. It beats everything up too much. You could get through with a 2WD, but you may want 4WD if you are towing a big trailer. I just took it over Labor Day weekend at Coral since I didnt have by hauler that weekend.
  11. Mike, you are more than welcome to camp with us again and anytime in the future. This goes for everyone else too. We had a blast with you guys and look forward to some more good times. Just PM me and I will give you directions to where we should be along the finger dune. It's not too far from where we were last weekend. ok, sounds good
  12. That pic was actually before the "cake incident", but I couldn't resist. He was probably talking about the sand in his eye from the ride we just got back from when I accidently plowed sand with the car a couple times trying to take those quad transitions. doh
  13. They are the big holes you run into in the dunes. They are sometimes like little slivers, sometimes they are round holes.
  14. You got it Rich. No prob. And I think Cathi @ SU told me last that they will be out sometime in January, but I could be wrong. PM her to make sure...glam_mom is her name on here.
  15. Wow, beautiful Reminds me of FLYINRYAN'S headers he had built before the twin turbos were added. They were NICE.
  16. OK, Malcolm....this time we are gonna find each other and say hi, ok? I'll come over to your guys' camp and say hi. I still haven't met Bob! :no_no:
  17. Duniemonkie will be making it out this trip! ....but she'll be arriving Friday afternoon sometime. She has to work on Friday.
  18. To run an average sized AC unit, you'll want siomething at least 3000 watts. I had a 3000W gennie and it ran everything except for the AC and micro at the same time.
  19. I'd offer, Steve, but I will already have 3 people taking a couple showers in mine. My gray water for the bathroom should get pretty full. Sorry
