  1. I'm not a$$hurt about anything. I just think you are looking way too far into the whole "graphic design" of the "flames". He just ran the grinder over the hood to give it a lil something extra. It's not like it is down the whole side of my car.
  2. Oh I know. I DO remember that part. It was the last half of the night that was a blur. :no_no:
  3. Well thanks for your input, Nick. :no_no: I think it looks just fine. I'm leaving it, thanks.
  4. but the "a" and the "o" are on opposite sides of the keyboard! :no_no:
  5. So does that mean this thing gonna be ready for the DDR kickoff weekend? I hope so!
  6. Seems kinda like a trend.... My buddy, Stephan, drove his car about 5 miles like this...
  7. That sucks. I know all about that chit! I have been know to get a little carried away when jumping...not anymore though! :no_no: I also have been known to find the only big a$$ rocks going to comp at night too! Tell him he's got almost two weeks. Get that effer fixed!
  8. About $500 plus another 50 for the hood. That included all mounting tabs welded on the frame and all hardware as well.
  9. I got my new side panels and hood put on this weekend. Josey @ Sick Sand Travel did them and did a pretty nice job. They look sweet, but I still have to decide on either a color or just run a DA sander over them and clear coat em. I also still have to insulate them between the panels and the frame. I don't want these damn things rattling AT ALL! new hood... So far this summer... I have also put in some new Crow belts... a new chain and sprocket... ....and rewired the HID's to eliminate the key fob switch for them. I also did this because I think the tranmitter had a draw that was killing the battery after sitting for long periods of time. I also put in a brand new battery and serviced the CV's with new grease. The only things I have left are touch up the frame where the welds were made for the (this is Kens Color's specialty), insulate the panels, and put in some fresh gas and off I go. I can't wait.
  10. wtf? here's another pic of you at Dan's poker run since you freakin insisted.
  11. holy crap! awesome story! That's funny! I liked it.
  12. why is this thread all of a sudden about ME?
  13. As much as I see this as a really good time, I have to agree with ynot and racertim23. It might start off as a good time, but I too think that it would just cause problems in the end. There is usually enough going on at comp hill for me anyways. I plan on going to Dumont for years to come and hope that it is the same place then as it is now. If I really wanted that whole crazy scene, I'll take a drive down to G on a holiday weekend. Until then, I like the Dumont atmoshere and plan on staying there.
  14. That's cool, Dan, but what about some food without alcohol saturated in it?
  15. YEP! THOSE! Yeah, they are a bunch of great peeps! We've had some good times w/ them at Dumont over the past few years.
  16. You should have elaborated a little bit more on that, Don.
  17. Then your a$$ wouldn't hurt! What if I ate dinner last night BEFORE I started drinking at the poker run?

    1st trip

That stinks, ash. But like Don said, just stick her in a buggy. There are plenty of 4 seaters in our camp if you plan on camping with the rest of DDR on the 7th it shouldn't be a problem.
  19. Thanks, Jay. Hey it was sure fun drinkin and partying with you and your dad. I don't remember the last half of the night though...well except for when I told Anna to pull over so I could yack. Those fruity shots were nasty!
  20. I had a lot of fun. Food was great thanks to Adam and James , people were very friendly, and it was all togther a great time. The band, The Objex, were awesome too. It was great to put some faces to names... advanced sound designs, high octane junkie, raptoroy, and maybe a few others that I can't seem to remember right now. It was also great seeing and hanging out with some familiar faces too. I actually got to meet Dan and talk to him this time rather than seeing him lay in the sand in pain. It was great meeting you, Dan. It's good to see you are up and able to walk. You have some really great friends that put together this poker run. Hopefully you recover back to 100% quickly. I uploaded all the pics I took into the gallery. Click here to check em out.
