  1. ...orrrrr like ISBB said...one of DDR's sponsor's...Team Acme. Mention DumontDuneRiders and they'll take care of you and do GOOD work. That's if you plan on getting it done here in town, Ken. :redhat:
  2. He just send me the same pic after I got off the phone with him. He had to rub it in just that much more! Ragdoll! :redhat: Congrats Tony! That's one badass bike.
  3. I mean that's messed up since you don't know the guy personally. That's all.
  4. right on, thanks I think I'll still buy this kit since it comes with everything including bolts
  5. Does it go in the pipe first, then the rings, then the cap?
  6. Hey that's your opinion. That's messed up, it makes him happy- so what? Nobody said your post was gay...oh wait yeah they did! ISBB did!
  7. I think I might go the cheap and easy route for now and see how this works. I am currently running a Supertrapp w/ a tip, so maybe I can just throw some discs at it to shut it up.... http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...mp;autoview=sku Anyone know wtf the black piece in the pic is for? :redhat:
  8. And this is exactly why we all need to take this seriously. If they gain control over these other areas, Dumont is next. Everyone needs to get involved and take some initiative. Your first step is to join FoDD.
  9. Dude, I was just giving ya sh*t. Don't sweat it. Take some pics why don't ya! Coral rocks! :redhat:
  10. I laughed. You always crack me up, Dave... even talkin sh*t. :redhat:
  11. Nobody was painting a picture but you, Dave. We weren't showering together, gross. :redhat: The showers are separate there.
  12. oh THAT?? :redhat: That effect might as well have blacked me out completely! I didn't even know that was me.
  13. Right on, Dave. Good job. Except not one friggn second of footage of me riding or jumpin! :redhat: What up w/ that? I see how it is. It's all about Pauly.
  14. Here's another.... 12:00/ Lunchtime... yep that's a happy thought.
  15. Then we wouldn't wonder if you are gonna whine about sleeping in your Suburban ever again! j/k we'll put you up until you get it back (at Banshee Wars, etc) What if the tres hermanos wore real shoes or riding boots at Dumont instead of Uggs.
  16. The numbers were posted to help, not to piss anyone off. I'm sorry your phone doesn't work there.
  17. BLM: Routine matters call (760) 252-6000 Emergencies call (888) 233-6561 or (909) 383-5651 Permits and Events: http://www.blm.gov/ca/barstow/permits.html Any other numbers that might be helpful or usefull for Dumont dune riders, please post them if you have any.
  18. FoDD/ Friends of Dumont Dunes: This organization was created to represent all users of the Dumont Dunes and provides those Dune users with a strong, united voice to the Bureau of Land Management and other appropriate political, legislative and land management agencies, while promoting safe, responsible and proper use of the Dumont Dunes. An all-volunteer, user-based organization, Friends of Dumont Dunes is on the forefront of issues impacting the Dumont Dunes, acting as liaisons in the ongoing battle for the rights of the duning community and focusing on enhancing the off-road experience of all Dumont Dunes users. FoDD is the group that organizes the Dumont Dunes cleanups as well. TRT/ Technical Review Team: "The Technical Review Team members act as liaisons between the duning community and the Bureau of Land Management, which is the agency in charge of managing the Dumont Dunes. Communication is always important but more so now that money is flowing. Having a TRT should help keep the BLM accountable to us, the users." BLM/ Bureau of Land Management: BLM Rangers, as uniformed Federal law enforcement officers: -Enforce Federal laws and regulations governing the public lands and resources. -Provide a regular and reoccurring presence over the public land. -Take appropriate actions when any unauthorized use or illegal activity is detected, including conducting investigations, issuing warnings and citations, and making arrests. -Work closely with local, county, and state law enforcement officials in conducting law enforcement and search and rescue operations. -Conduct informational and educational programs -Provide emergency medical aid. -Monitor resource conditions. -Eliminate hazardous situations.
  19. Well somebody has to do it! If everyone helped by picking up trash on trips, it wouldn't be so much work for the few that go out of their way to cleanup. :no_no: That's a bad attitude to have.
  20. I went ahead and changed the "Rules" forum to "Dumont Issues". This forum is for any environmental issues at Dumont, talk about the rules at Dumont, news/meeting announcements, etc about FoDD, TRT, or BLM, closure threats, etc. This keeps the forum flowing by keeping the trips, trip reports, dune stories (fun stuff) separated from items that arew issues at Dumont. It also makes it easier to search for important items about we all need to stay informed about at Dumont.
  21. Sorry, Rich..they aren't done yet. I'll have hats and stickers though if you want some. Shoot me a PM for my number and we'll hook up. yeah whatever. Does your pen have any ink left in it?
  22. Come on, Steve! You put this in the Dumont section???? I moved it for ya. We'll be at the sand show, have fun and be safe dude.
  23. all this talk about food is making you angry!
