  1. Then ice water would be served in hell and I'd always be doing repairs on my bike. What if Chase wasn't a sh*t talker? :headbang:
  2. Then I would own three of them...oh wait I DO and they ARE reliable. What if we all said screw work today and met at the north pole at 12:00 and went duning!!??
  3. haha yeah, were they like "sonnnn of a b*tch!" ???? (inside joke)
  4. Congrats on the new home away from home!
  5. I knew you were joking! The rainbow flag? You said it...GAY flag.
  6. You and about 20 other dirt bags! I guess it's expected when I am parked right in the middle of the party.
  7. I may be out now on this trip. I really won't know till really close to the date. It may be hard for me to swing this trip AND the Sand Show the weekend after. It's gonna kill me to miss it, but a man can only afford SO MUCH. I'll try and swing it if there is any chance in hell, trust me. IF I can swing it, I'll be up Friday night sometime and trying to squeeze the TajMahal in between everything.
  8. (Saturday) That sucks, Stacey. Wish you could make it. Maybe we can get together some other time during early next week for a couple drinks before they go back. Ken....READ.... Dude, kick it down a few notches!!
  9. Just give me a call and I'll let you know where we are. We have dinner plans sometime that evening so not sure how late we'll be THERE. We'll be at the Grill, them dinner, then I'm sure somewhere else doing this--->
  10. That's pretty scarey, but glad everone is okay. I hope I never get the chance to find out how that feels.
  11. Yeah like Steve said...Hot Rod Grill, about 3 ish. If things change for any reason I'll post it up. But otherwise, let's plan on meeting up there about that time. Hope to see ya there.
  12. Yeah.... ...Cole, just put a longer swingarm on your bike! That will make it screamin fast. STRRRRRRRRRRRETCH IT!
  13. f*ckin Peeps! Have a safe trip, sis. Can't wait to see you guys and throw some beers back witcha!
  14. Hell yeah....1000 members in just one year! I would have never imagined it would grow so fast. That's awesome though! We could have never done it withpout you guys! Every member on DDR is what DDR is- a group of people that love Dumont, a community, and a family! Let's make next year even BIGGER! I have a little feeling it won't be a problem.
  15. I didn't see that much trash, but like you told me Ken, there is alot of trash in certain areas not necessarily in camp area. There is that one spot to the far left of banshee hill (behind the big face hill) that trash just collects. It creates a dust devil effect there and collects. We picked up ALOT of trash there over the cleanup weekend. I try and cleanup any trash I see out there, but it's gonna happen no matter now hard we try to keep it clean. That's why every person needs to pick up whatever they see on the ground AND leave theie camp cleaner than when they got there like you said.
  16. I believe it's normal for it not to light up upon "key up". I don't have a Rhino but I have a Grizzly and the digital dashes are the same in the Rhino and Grizz. I just checked mine (just to make sure) and it doesn't light up either. I don't recall it ever lighting up either. I wouldn't worry about it. Don't worry, it's a Yamaha! :headbang:
  17. Orange County Fair and Exposition Center Costa Mesa, CA It's about 3.5 hrs. Dan, let me see how much room I have left in my truck and you might be able to cruise up with us. As far as a room to stay, you'll have to look into getting a reservation where we are or so if you can crash in someone's room. Sorry our (anna & I) room is full. :headbang: If you need the info for the SUper 8 we're staying at, let me know.
  18. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand the Night Drags recap thread has now died. Thanks guys. :headbang: j/k
  19. no comments here Stacey, other than good ones. I understand what you mean about "meeting DDR peeps really got me thru some tough times". Having good friends has helped me through really tough times in the past. It's also great having the opportunity to stay in touch with such a big group of cool peeps (DDR) everyday! :headbang:
  20. So I just now noticed it's August 16th. One year ago today I started the first thread on DDR! It is on the old forum. If anyone is interested in the link...see below. Some of you DDR peeps remember back then and were signed up on the old forum. This was back when I had no idea how to get the Invision forum software setup that I wanted to use for this forum. THEN....this guy named ISBB signed up. Immediatley most of us were like, "who the fk is this post whore?" Then I got to know the guy and found out he was a cool mofo! :fro: We've been good friends ever since. He not only helped setup DDR with the forum and gallery you see and use today, but we transferred EVERYTHING (the whole website) over to his server. This gave us more bandwidth and space for things like easy to use attachments for pictures, the gallery, etc. Without Nick, I would have spent even more a$$ loads of cash $$$ to get DDR where it is today. He's heard it about a thousand times, but once again......Thanks Nick! It's been a great year, people! I have met tons of cool peeps and many new friends here on DDR. Looking forward to many more years to come duning and partying w/ you guys. :headbang: Some of those old posts are funny as hell to read. I frequent the old forum from time to time for a good laugh. Check it out...you should recognize some of the names....well except for some which are different like Pauly Paul (rideredlv) and steelers (rhino king) 1st post on DDR (old forum)
  21. Vicki (SailAway), Terry (ynot) and I have been talking about the show and hoping to get some of DDR involved this year and helping out. I'm pretty excited that Dumont will have some representation at the show this year :headbang: and it's not only about Glamis. If anyone is interested please let me know what day and times are best for you to work the booth spot with us. I myself and Anna (duniemonkie) have pretty much committed ourselves for the weekend whenever we are needed. It would be great to have additional DDR peeps help so it makes it easier on everyone and gives us a chance to maybe break free for a couple hours and check out the show or relax. Please post up if you are interested. Also: Some good ideas for the booth would be great too. We're looking for some ideas to attract people over to check out what FoDD is all about. One of the ideas Vicki told me about was to have a couple different buckets of sand from the different dunes (Dumont, Glamis, etc) that people can run there fingers through and ooooh and ahhh over. We scooped up a five gallon bucket last weekend at the night races for this. Any other ideas that you guys might have that we can use for the show to make it fun and effective? I myself was maybe thinking of making up some stickers that say Dumont or even some DDR stickers to pass out for free along with the usual FoDD info and Dune saftey/ etiquette brochures.
  22. Have fun, Cole. Have a good time. Don't forget to post what you've got from the night drags too when you get back. :headbang:
  23. Chase, what's your point? We've talked about phone service at Dumont in like 4 threads....5 now. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...?showtopic=1524 http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...c=1202&hl=phone http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...owtopic=766&hl= http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...owtopic=445&hl= der :headbang:
  24. Oh yeah, Vic (aceisback). That's also his name on here. He's a cool dude. We met up & rode with him on one of the DDR rides over one of the big weekends.
