  2. Here is a list of things I can think of that we'll all need for the night drags. If you can help bring any of the things on the list or can think of anything to add to it please post up, otherwise let's please leave this thread for these kinds of things ONLY. There is already a thread for general discussion about the drags and who's coming here. Thanks Light setups (large construction type) a "Christmas tree" (switched red, yellow, green light) tiki torches (to line the hill and for at top) trash bags and large trash cans a small generator we can bring to half-hill for lights lights for half-hill
  3. Yep, anytime there is some good BBQ grub in front of me we're all over it. You sure know how to grill.
  4. I had an idea for the hill. Ken'sColors has these "tiki torch balls". They light up pretty good. I think we should line the hill with those and put some at the top for maybe a finish line. I'll have to see if we could pick a few more sets up- he has 5 of them. I think there should be something (lit up) at the top of the hill for safety and so when the racers know when to lift.
  5. We weren't drinking all the way until 3 AM.................only like 2:45. Good thing OGP was DD. We woulda been sleeping out there- ROUGHIN IT style.
  6. You were wasssssssted Saturday night...or should I say Sunday AM. Good times....thanks again for the ribs and the movie.
  7. We should have a couple set ups, but if you can get even one that would be a huge help. Thanks!
  8. First off I have a question. Why do you guys appologize to me all the time? You haven't pissed me off in any way whatsoever or broken any freakin rules, derrrr. As for the races...yes I am staying the night. I'm bringing my hauler out there and cranking all night. :headbang:

  12. Sweet! Looks nice, Craig. What happened to all that talk about how nice a stock bike's reliability is? Then you go out and get a bike w/ mods and nitrous!!!??? :headbang:
  13. Goooood times last night. Finally got to meet pjcnlv and grub on some way good ribs! :headbang: Thanks again Pat, those were deeeeelish! Also finally got to meet TBonesMalones, OFFROADRACER, GirlwithHorns, & GerritJ (on friday). We had quite the DDR group there last night! It was cool seeing and hanging out w/ everyone outside of the dunes. this was aonly a 1/4 of the group that ended up coming out. Gordon was roost-happy. I liked his comment when the announcer says "it will be interesting to see if they fine you for spinning donuts and roosting so much." Gordon said- "well if they do there will be no reason to come back next year then because I won't be here! "

  16. Yeah that wind was nasty! The worst part was all the dust and dirt in your eyes. Hopefully tonight will be a little more calm. Sorry, pjcnlv, we didn't get pit passes for yesterday so we couldn't look for you. I did see where you are parked though and we'll try and hook up tonight. It was cool meeting a few new peeps....GerritJ and family and TrickyLS2racer's dad, Jerry. Good times last night with all you guys. Must do it again tonight. A few more pics posted in the gallery

  19. Hey everyone who is going: we'll all be out there tonight "tailgating" in the AC in my toyhauler. Cruise on by and have a beer w/ us. I'll be parked somewhere in the parking lot w/ it- you can't miss it.
  20. If it says GL5 then yeah, it's ok to use.
  21. "Hypoid" is a certain cut of gear and that type of gear oil is capable of resisting higher pressures than regular gear oil. Does the bottle say GL4 or 5 anywhere on it? If it's GL4 or better you'll be ok. Shaft drive oil? :chev_bowtie: :chev_bowtie: Never heard of it.
