DURACRAP? I'm not gonna go there. It wasn't mine. The people that owned it flipped it when they came over a dune. It flipped a$$ end over the front.

SHE planned the trip...not me. I had to remind her of the date she planned. There's a lot going on lately is all...she forgot.

Let us know for sure when you find out about the RV parking. I'd like to pull into RV parking in the pits, but an extra $100 doesn't fit into the budget this week. If anything I'll just pull in the parking lot w/ the hauler and do some cheap tailgating there. Either way, we'll definitley have to throw a few back together!

Yep, the sand was oh so smooth. Some areas I actually thought there was something wrong with my bike because of the ripples in the sand made it track kinda wierd.

No there wasn't any band. The place was pretty empty.

I'd have to say it was one of the best day trips we have taken! The sun was behind the clouds for the most part all the way up until about 10AM. Good thing too, because that made it much cooler and bearable to ride. It was about 99 degrees on my thermometer on my mirror of my truck when we got there at 5:30 ish. The sand was smoth as hell. There were no tracks anywhere. We were the ONLY ones out there. :smoker: The dunes were OURS! No injuries to report other than racnjason's dislocated shoulder from hitting the witches eye. He was able to get it back in place and still ride with a little bit od pain, but he was okay. Then I hit the same damn witches eye about 45 minutes later! I thought I was gonna eat it pretty big, but thank God for Raptors being the tanks they are. It soaked it up pretty good other than my knee slamming into the reverse knob on the fender. ouch! Here's the witches eye that we both hit... All in all it was a great day and was cool meeting and riding with a few others from DDR....lindernglamis, Ocean03, and crd450. Good times...good peeps. Pauly has a patch of hair on his lower back that doens't make sense, lol 18. mushroom chairs freakin suck to fold up (like we didn't know that yet, right? :headbang: ) 19. YFZ450's with kick-starts suck to start 20. Dumont dune riding in July with decent weather actually is possible!

Joe I will tell you the same that I told Don.... This is a direct quote from my PM to him when he asked the same thing... Do you guys (Joe&Don) WANT drama on here? This I don't see as "drama" because the guy (sandcardude) hasn't replied to it and surely no "trouble has been stirred up". If he does reply then great we can hopefully have the two deal with it from there OUTSIDE of the website. From how I see it, 1320 is just trying to get a hold of the guy. God damn is it october yet? Nobody has even confirmed the whole RV parking thing yet. I was just gonna drag mine out and park in the parking lot if RV parking was crazy expensive. :shocked2:
