I think at 7/8 ish the sun is still pretty much up though in the summer time, isn't it?

:fro: Cool! What time do you guys think is a good time to get out there? 7/8 ish? At 8:00 it's like 100 deg lately. That's pretty bearable if the sun is down.

I'll be there. I am open to either hill. I prefer comp, but doesn't matter that much to me. I just wanna go have some fun. :redhat: Will this be a bikes only race or is anyone planning on bringing some sand cars out? Either way I was thinking of also bringing out my Busa (mini-rail) to give some bikes a whoopin on. :fro:

yeah but he actually thought it was funny when you did that. :redhat: And then he left everything and never changed it. :fro:

Shall we start a thread as the "Aug 12th Dumont Night Races" then so we can confirm who is bringing what and who plans on showing up?? :redhat:

Those balloon lights look great, but I think we should have enough light with what we get get together plus the full moon on the 12th. :redhat:

Actually Wingnut is also driving since he lives in Utah. dnchevyman was probably cruising with him since he's up on his side of town. I still need to talk to JoeDuner and see if he was serious about going with us or not. :redhat:

It WAS a joke, Berrrrrrrrrrrrt. Lighten up. I wouldn't change anyone's posts, profiles, etc. I was just talkin sh*t. ck it out....

So as for the date, will it be Aug 12th then? Let's get it set in stone so people can start planning now and get their stuff in order ahead of time.

go ahead and do that! :redhat: You're forgetting who has the controls over your profile on here. :fro: j/k

Exactly. The last early AM trip we went out, comp looked likk this... nice and smooth

Yeah I figured you into the equation already, Aaron. I'll give ya a call close to the weekend. Can't wait to go ride some smooth sand again. Last time was great.

Where the fk have you been, Stacey. We've been talking about this for a while now (just in the other thread about it). Yes you're bringing your hauler (so am I)...yes everyone is going out....yes we will hang out and party......YES YES YES

good I freakin hope so. Just look at it this way- in my situation. If nobody pitches in....80 bucks for diesel, 20 for bike fuel, 20 for food/drink/snack= $120.... COME ON!!! You can throw a twenty in.

Why wouldn't you anyways? That's why we're gonna have lights there, fool! I'll bring my 2wheeler too and we can start the first night time/ no headlight having/ 2wheeler races.

That's what I was saying! You mean I have to pay this time too! (except for all of it...nope fk that! ) Screw that! Gonna go fight some rocks, ay?

I think the day has already been decided, right? The night of August 12th.

I myself prefer comp, but then again I'm not gonna be doing any serious dragging against anyone with my Craptor. Either works for me. I say we leave it up to the majority of the peeps that will be racing.

Question: will this be at comp hill or at Banshee Hill?

OK who all is going this Saturday morning? I am wondering who all is cruising with me and who else in Vegas is gonna meet up at the gas station in teh morning. So far in my truck it's ISBB and who else? JoeDuner, SandYFZ??? Let me know. Tickets for the round-trip to Dumont in the DMAX BUS are $20. No seriously though, I'm not paying for gas by myself if I've got 2 or 3 others cruising too. Everyone can chip in. Here is the meet-up time and place for Sat AM for anyone leaving Vegas or Henderson. PLACE: Shell gas station on Rainbow & BlueDiamond (160) TIME: 4:00 AM

hell yeah mofo! That sucks you can't make it on the 12th, 80grit. I really think we should keep it to the full moon weekends though. Hell, who says we can't do both weekends (12th AND the 19th).

I was kinda thinking the same thing. Mostly because permits, large gatherings of people being a no no, etc. Liability is the biggest reason why I was thinking of maybe not putting it up there too.

Full mon date: Aug 9th, Sept 7th, and Oct 7th (which is already Banshee Wars weekend) I think we should shoot for the Aug 12th date & then on Sept 9th. (Both are Saturdays) The Aug 12th date could be a kinda test run and see how everything goes so then the second one will be all dialed in and we'll know what else to do the second time around to make it even better.

Nope. As much as you wish I did, nope. It's called a mailing list you subscribe to with each band and to check up on bands' website yourlocalscene.com etc. This is how I know when they are coming and when albums come out. Here is the e-mail I recieved from Transplants.....
