HAHA! I too freaked out the first time I heard paddles in the sand too. I was on my YZ250. It was the first time I had ridden out there with a paddle. I kept looking behind me because I swore someone was right on my a$$ with a 4 stroke. It took me while to figure out wtf that noise was. Now everytime I hear it I usually have a sh*t-eatin-grin on my face. I love that noise.

Yeah, except I'm just craving to ride, I want the whole Dumont atmosphere. I'm missing it.

Damn, October can't come soon enough. I can't stop visualizing blasting through smooth sand on my bike or in my rail....or hanging around the campfire drinking a cold beer with good friends and good tunes joking about sh*t that makes hardly any sense at all. Just a few pics that remind me of good times. If everyone else hasn't had the same withdrawls yet, I figured I'd try and make you feel the same as me.

Oh hellll no. There was still Sunset Station, Timbers, Adobe Gilas (in sunset), Hooters (in Sunset), PT's on Silverado, etc. The new places just made things much more convenient. Oh yeah, and there was a bunch of garage drinking that went down at budsponge's old place in Whitney Ranch. Oh boy...those were the good ol days. You never did met "Daniel." He was a different person all together. Daniel: it was the name we gave Doug went he drank ALOT of Jack Daniels. "Daniel" came out. You may have caught a glipse of him at times drinking late night w/ Doug since you've met him.

I'd like to make an appearnace & hang out out with you guys. I just have a bunch of plans up in the air for the weekend so I can't say I'l be there for just yet. I hope I can make it. Sounds like good times!
