  1. Yep, that was probably us! We were there on the weekend of the 5th-7th. Was it that weekend? If so it could have been one of many. Me, ISBB, sandsnake, or Zukifreak. What kind of truck was it, John?
  2. White, black, purple, whatever. It's FO SHO. If your gonna get that technical, then it's FOR SURE!
  3. no no no...you got it all wrong....it's -----> FO SHO
  4. No Tim, I didn't tip the bartender that made me wait forever. However I did take care of the other bartender girl that asked me nicely if I needed a drink as soon as I walked up. And no, I can't change the smiley's hat to purple. Purple sucks.
  5. Thurs or Fri? Sounds good, Jay. f'd up or not.
  6. It was over a month ago for me. Time for the lake, sand up north, and air conditioning.
  7. I agree completely Don. Whenever I get crappy service more than once- I too won't go back. For example BWW. BOTH locations have let me down numerous times. I, personally, will never go back to either one. Everyone always says, ahh come on let's just go back. I say, to hell with that place. Maybe if everyone shared this attitude, these businesses would have to learn to EARN their customers with good service rather than just EXPECT them. Just because a place has a good location doesn't mean I'll go there. I'll drive out of my way to go to a place where I know they treat their customers well.
  8. So how was BWW down there? No wounded dolphins? Was the beer soapy? Did the food make you ? Did you try and unplug their jukebox?
  9. It seems as though people these days just don't give a damn anymore. Maybe it's just Vegas, but I have noticed that every bar I go into, every restaurant I eat at, and just about anywhere else I go -90% of people just can't do their jobs for sh*t. I'm not even talking about doing a spectacular job either. For example, today we went to a local restaurant (shall remain un-named for now). We were seated without given any friggin menus. Isn't that the easiest part of a host/ hostess' job? The waiter takes our drink order. Then like 2 minutes later he brings us out our drinks and asks us for each and every drink who had which one. I said, hell you took the order. I was barely listening when everyone ordered and told him who had what. It's these kinds of things that bug the hell out of me. Another thing is bartenders. Most of them don't even notice when someone walks up to the bar and needs a drink. Wingnut and I stood at the bar at Tommy Rockers last night for a good 15 minutes or so waiting for someone to acknowledge us. We even tried to get their attention numerous times. Then finally we had to yell directly at the chick bartender in front of us and say "hey can we some drinks here!?" Then she looks at us like "yeah, sure....what do ya need?" She acted as if we had just walked up when we had been standing there forever. Ugghhhh!! There I'm over it now that I got that out. It just bugs me how people these days don't take any pride in what they do and have no concern for other people. I give 200% at my job and rack my brain sometimes to try and keep people happy. Why can't others just give a measly 100%.
  10. Craig...check it out......get the phone book out, open the yellow pages to the section under "recreation vehicles- storage", and you should be able to find something. But no I can't recommend any particular place...just some smartass comments is all- imagine that!
  11. Me and sanddunesaddict should be leaving about the same time Thurs. We are off work at 12:00 and we should be on the road by hopefully no later than 2 ish. Wanna caravan, Dave?
  12. Hey duneshredder911, was your accident at Dumont? What kind of car was it? Any damage to the car? Just curious.
  13. That was from a couple weeks ago, Gerald. Every glass they had at BWW made the beer taste soapy. That's just one of the reasons we don't go back to that sh*t hole. And as far as the capri's, that was wingnut that night. HE had em on!
  14. Hmmm..let's see- WHICH ONE.... Probably for me it would be an accident I had back in 98 or so. My buddy and I went out to ride a track out at Pabco. The last time I was there I was too chicken sh*t to take this double jump that was right out of a turn/burm. Well this time I had the confidence but not the speed. I pinned it in 3rd gear right out of the turn (I was on my YZ250). I was like hell yeah I'm hittin this biatch! .........Well I hit the jump no problem, but found out in mid air that since last time I was there somebody moved the landing another 10 feet or so. I would have cleared it w/ no problem, but instead I cased the landing with my FRONT tire. went flying over the bars on the impact and landed in front of the bike. I got up quickly and looked at my right hand which hurt like hell. It wasn't really in the right spot coming out of the sleeve of my jersey. I tried picking my bike up (like an idiot) because I was too worried about someone landing on me and the bike. Some dude came running over to me and helped me off the track. My ex-girlfriend and my buddy, Tom drove me to the ER and went into surgery and they placed 2 (external) pins in my arm for about 1.5- 2 months. The real pain was when they finally had to remove them. The doc came in the room w/ a clipboard and a pair of needle nose pliers!!! :shocked2: :shocked2: :shocked2: I was like WTF are those for! He said- you'll see, don't worry about it. Holy hell that was some of the worst pain I have ever been through. The pins were about 2 inches long and only stuck out of my arm about a 1/4 inch! :shocked2: I don't ride tracks anymore. Another bad accident I had was when I flew off my Grizzly 660 w/ my new mud tires on it. I was only wearing shorts and Vans. My leg got sucked under the back tire, I reached for the handlebar and hit the throttle ripping my leg all to hell. Then I had to ride 7 miles home in the heat of July bleeding all over myself. I got stitches and was treated for 3rd degree burns all down my leg. WEAR THE PROTECTIVE GEAR EVEN IF YOU ARE JUST GOING OUT FOR A LIL PUTT PUTT RIDE!!! Even in all the pain I managed to take a pic. Some call me crazy.
  15. HAHA!! Yeyaahhhh! That was funny when I got mine last show. Anna was like "holy crap, you got it!" And I was like..."YEP......LET'S GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!!!"
  16. ^^It's this attitude that gets the dunes closed down. You have to care about the vegetation no matter how ugly it may be or whatever. You have to show these people that the vegetation AND dune riders CAN co-exist. If we don't run all the vegetation down when riding and we preserve the land, then everyone is happy.
  17. The Z400 and KFX400 are identical, not 450's . Kawi doesn't make a 450 yet do they? Isn't that what he's asking?
  18. Hell yeah I'm going!!! As far as I know it will only be gen admission/ stnding room only. Last time they played there I don't think the balncony seats were available. You wanna be on the floor anyways.
  19. Yeah they did that with my first phone that was defective from those fools. I'll avoid the trip to the douchebags and enter all of them myself. Thanks for the heads up though!
  20. Not to hijack a thread...but here's what happened.
  21. Yeah that might save SOME time, but I'll still have to add a name w/ the number called. Most of the numbers will still have to be entered manually. Oh well.
  22. Any Slightly Stoopid fans on DDR? June 3rd at House of Blues!!!! Anyone else going? Slightly Stoopid's site Buy your tickets HERE!
  23. I can hear it now....."NO FAT JOKES!!!"
  24. Oh well...at least the money was well spent! BTW....I just got my new phone, but it will be a bit before I get all the numbers programmed in it so I won't know who the hell any of you people if you call.
