Hey duneshredder911, was your accident at Dumont? What kind of car was it? Any damage to the car? Just curious.

That was from a couple weeks ago, Gerald. Every glass they had at BWW made the beer taste soapy. That's just one of the reasons we don't go back to that sh*t hole. And as far as the capri's, that was wingnut that night. HE had em on!

Hmmm..let's see- WHICH ONE.... Probably for me it would be an accident I had back in 98 or so. My buddy and I went out to ride a track out at Pabco. The last time I was there I was too chicken sh*t to take this double jump that was right out of a turn/burm. Well this time I had the confidence but not the speed. I pinned it in 3rd gear right out of the turn (I was on my YZ250). I was like hell yeah I'm hittin this biatch! .........Well I hit the jump no problem, but found out in mid air that since last time I was there somebody moved the landing another 10 feet or so. I would have cleared it w/ no problem, but instead I cased the landing with my FRONT tire. :angry: went flying over the bars on the impact and landed in front of the bike. I got up quickly and looked at my right hand which hurt like hell. It wasn't really in the right spot coming out of the sleeve of my jersey. I tried picking my bike up (like an idiot) because I was too worried about someone landing on me and the bike. Some dude came running over to me and helped me off the track. My ex-girlfriend and my buddy, Tom drove me to the ER and went into surgery and they placed 2 (external) pins in my arm for about 1.5- 2 months. The real pain was when they finally had to remove them. The doc came in the room w/ a clipboard and a pair of needle nose pliers!!! :shocked2: :shocked2: :shocked2: I was like WTF are those for! He said- you'll see, don't worry about it. Holy hell that was some of the worst pain I have ever been through. The pins were about 2 inches long and only stuck out of my arm about a 1/4 inch! :shocked2: I don't ride tracks anymore. Another bad accident I had was when I flew off my Grizzly 660 w/ my new mud tires on it. I was only wearing shorts and Vans. My leg got sucked under the back tire, I reached for the handlebar and hit the throttle ripping my leg all to hell. Then I had to ride 7 miles home in the heat of July bleeding all over myself. I got stitches and was treated for 3rd degree burns all down my leg. WEAR THE PROTECTIVE GEAR EVEN IF YOU ARE JUST GOING OUT FOR A LIL PUTT PUTT RIDE!!! Even in all the pain I managed to take a pic. Some call me crazy.

HAHA!! Yeyaahhhh! That was funny when I got mine last show. Anna was like "holy crap, you got it!" And I was like..."YEP......LET'S GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!!!"

^^It's this attitude that gets the dunes closed down. You have to care about the vegetation no matter how ugly it may be or whatever. You have to show these people that the vegetation AND dune riders CAN co-exist. If we don't run all the vegetation down when riding and we preserve the land, then everyone is happy.

The Z400 and KFX400 are identical, not 450's . Kawi doesn't make a 450 yet do they? Isn't that what he's asking?

Hell yeah I'm going!!! As far as I know it will only be gen admission/ stnding room only. Last time they played there I don't think the balncony seats were available. You wanna be on the floor anyways.

^^ Effen Don! Yeah I still have it and had to write down ALLLLL the numbers. That took forever! There was like 200 freakin numbers in there- goddamn! I wish I coulda got a phone at the Verizon booth in the mall, but no I had to call and do it over the phone! gay!

no way! The biggest reason peple don't run carbs anymore is because the flooding effect you get when wheeling, climbing steep hills, and in the rough they tend to load up. Not to mention FI is way more reliable and can make better smoother power than a carb. I'd stay FI for sure, Scott. Just my .02 Also...shop around and drive some cars in the dunes before you take the pludge as well.

So I think it was Friday or Saturday (can't remember ) at Havasu I loaded up everything to get on the boat and grabbed everything EXCEPT the most important thing (other than the beer). I forgot I left my cel phone in my pocket when I walked through waist high water getting in the boat.. derrr So needless to say it's destroyed. I have the insurance and will probably get my new phone in the mail tomorrow. So if I anyone has tried to reach me and I haven't called you back, that's why. Just wanted to let all you peeps know.

I saw the mini motoX at the Orleans one of the last times they were in town. What a blast. I also agree, they are almost more fun to watch than Supercross. McGrath was dominating the race when I saw it last...but maybe he's losing it in his old age.

I hope he makes it! I am gonna try and check it out one way or another. If not- it will be all over every dirt bike video ever made from this point on though.
