  1. JJ, I have been on that site ever since I got my DMax and that's where I have read that 1400-1500 degrees pre-turbo is okay as long as it's not held there for extended periods of time. 1300 degrees is max ok temp if it's after the turbo from what all those diesels guru peeps over there have said.
  2. ...and also because Taproot is WAY better
  3. I doubt it. With being such a small vebnue they will sell out I'm sure. I wouldn't wait if you want to go. As for the Extreme Thing, no I'm not going. I don't like any of the bands that will be there.
  4. wwwhatever! You're not going?
  5. It's almost impossible to mount it on the down pipe on a DMax from what I have seen. The down pipe has a heat shield covering the whole pipe out of the turbo and is stuffed behind the motor up against the firewall. I could go farther down, but that is too far away from the turbo to read accurate.
  6. Just curious how high everyone else's exhaust temps get up to when towing. I was suprised how high mine get when pulling Mt Potisi! I decided to back off 5mph and let my motor live a lilttle when the manifold temp got to 1600 degrees! As soon as I backed off a tiny bit the temp dropped to 1400 deg immediately. I am guessing my "after turbo temp" is no more than 1200-1250 degrees. What are your temps and is your pyro gauge reading pre turbo or after? Mine is before the turbo (in the exhaust manifold) therefore my actual turbo temp is gonna be lower than the gauge temp reading.
  7. yeah I know! I also go to Hot Rod Grill and sometimes House of Blues
  8. I didn't hear the music- my computer at work doesn't have speakers....thank God!

  10. <-----THERE you go Don Here's your mic.
  11. Ohhh...was that them? I was gonna ask that but wasn't sure. I thought they looked familiar in the video. Thanks again guys!
  12. Yep, me too! I have seen them every time they have been in town. Hell, I even flew to Cleveland once to check em out along w/ Chevelle and Disturbed! :headbang:
  13. Dude, seeet a$$ video!! I loved it!
  14. I believe tickets were like $25 or so. Gerald, they have played there before. It was great. Sound quality is actually pretty good. They move all the arcade games to the side and they play on a little stage right under the stairs. Smaller venues are the best for Taproot! The only downfall is that it's usaully an all ages show there, and the bar situation sucks. :headbang:
  15. That's what I was thinking, Nick. I should probably be there bout 7:30/ 8 ish.
  16. The tape measure actually lied! I was able to put the Raptor, Taco's 450, the car, 2 coolers, & gear in there w/ room to spare! :headbang: The Grizzly will probably fit where I put Taco's 450. So all but the 250- but I have the back of the truck for that.
  17. You mean me? Where did she live? You should have stopped at our camp and said hi. We're pretty friendly people!
  18. He's not getting one to "keep up with the Jones'" He was already planning on getting one. Besides the car he will have sometime soon won't fit in the t/h he has now.
