  1. Reason I asked Don, is because your car isn't on your top 5 anymore.
  2. Easy for you to say. I just spent an a$$ load of $$. I still don't have my hands on that other eng either. Who knows when this guy w/ the other motor is gonna let me pick it up. I still have to shell out more cash to get it too. Besides the season never really ends for me- in the spring and summers we go to Coral Pink and Dumont in the early mornings. We'll see what happens though. :chev_bowtie:
  3. maybe, but they sure as hell can't pull one of these ....
  4. Tacopapa!!! :chev_bowtie:   A Toyota, Trav???? I never woulda thought. Nice truck though.
  5. I might just take you up on that, wingnut. I would like to jam out there after work on Friday night if I have a place to crash. I don't want to drag the house all the way out for only one night. Know what I mean. Are you camping with Joe? And hey Joe, are you gonna be in your normal spot down by bathroom 3?
  6. I came across this on the dieselplace.com when I was looking for info on the speed limiter removal with the programmers. DMax programmer comparison chart It has some helpful info on that chart. I have the Hypertech and found out that it does NOT remove or raise the factory speed limiter- lame! :chev_bowtie: I e-mailed Hypertech to ask them if there is a way to raise it w/ the programmer and this is what they had to say..."we do not offer it on heavy duty applications as the tires are not rated for that speed and for liability purposes"  WTF? They offer it on 1/2 ton applications and those tires aren't rated at over 112 mph?? My thoughts are a 1 ton is safer at fast speeds than a 1/2 ton. Whatever!
  7. What an a$$hole. You should have gotten his license # so we could all go to his house and dump our tanks right in his damn yard. Freakin jerk. Don't come back to Dumont ever again dumbass! Sandbar51, you shoulda stopped in all his crap and then roosted him w/ his own sh*t! :chev_bowtie:
  8. Man, what a fun night. I had a blast with everyone: duniemonkie, originalpimp, rhinoking, wingnut, tacomama and her friend Monica, Steveo and his bro (Joe) and his girl Cassie, Crazymexeddie, PaulyPaul & Angela, Pauly's buddies from his work, Armz, & even budsponge & Kayle! :chev_bowtie: Here's my drunken camera phone pic attempt  ... Hey wingnut, tell us all about Centerfold's last night before shutting down!
  9. Joe, I'll probably come out early Saturday AM w/ the bike(s). (The car still has issues- see the thread in Sandrail Tech about the 2nd gear project. :chev_bowtie: ) I didn't get much ride time in on the cleanup weekend, so I'll still come out and ride for the day
  10. Rhino King did everything he could to not shed a tear :chev_bowtie:
  11. I'll let you know whenever I find out. Thanks, 1320.
  12. Why's that Don? Just because your CV problem or are you getting sh*tty customer svc w/ them?
  13. Well that's what I thought Don. I just fired it up to find out it still runs like a$$. It had a lil pop/ misfire at times before I pulled it out. I thought the valves just needed adjustment, but they were done and it still has a miss on #4 cylinder. I checked fuel, spark, etc and found out that it is low on compression on that cylinder. I haven't checked it w/ a gauge (mine is at work), but I can feel the difference from #4 to a know good cylinder just by feel w/ my finger over the hole. So, now I have to find out why: a bent valve, cracked ring, etc. I am not a happy camper right about now. Looks like this b*tch ain't gonna be out for a while now. :chev_bowtie: I could put that other motor in whenever I pick it up, we'll have to see though.
  14. No sh*t! :chev_bowtie: You posted them AFTER I made that post. I saw them already. DERRRRRR
  15. derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Didn't you see we already posted those pics, Pauly?? Good job though, keep up the good work
  16. Got the motor back on Tuesday and finally got it in. I still have a few things more to do like hook up fuel lines, clean the air filter, hook up the throttle bodies and some misc connectors, but it's almost there! I ended up needing a bunch more parts than I excpected: main input shaft, 3 gears, 3 shifts forks, timing chain tensioner, and new front sprocket too. I ended up spending a little more than expected, but everything should be in top notch shape now- that's all that matters to me. I also had Scott pull the cams out and adj the valves and throw in some new plugs while he had it. They were getting a lil tight. She should be ready to go by next weekend. going back in.....
  17. Yeah he just called me to let me know. We are gonna party it up tonight as long as he is in town. Kenny is giving him a pretty good deal. We'll have to see how he fits the kings shoes.
  18. Hell yeah, Craig! Come out out. They always put on a good a$$ show!
  19. The nice big houses w/ big huge lots (over a half acre/ acre) and giant garages are usually around a million plus. I'm sure you could find one for cheaper if you don't need that much land though. There was a little 1800sq ft house in my neighborhood on almost two acres going for $989,000 about a year ago.
