no, but I did see you and crd450's names on the door of the mailbox. Where and what was the message?
-
Ok after re-reading this- it was a kinda inaccurate stereotype. Not all these guys w/ that bling are like that. I'll give you that, Trav- but lets get back to the subject at hand here- the people that didn't pickup trash (whether they have 250K coaches and 100K sandrails or a Maaco dirtbike and a tarp for a tent).
-
Dude you're all over the place w/ this one. :shocked2:
-
geez...I didn't mean to piss you off. I can't seem to get my point across in writing, so I'll stay outta this one. Sorry I started this thread. :shocked2:
-
:shocked2: We'll talk whenever I come by for my gauges.
-
yeah pick up as in BUY! These things are getting expensive even WITH the hook up w/ Jesse @ J&J Vinyl! Just wait till the shirt order goes in too. :shocked2: $$$$
-
Trav I don't really think rcjunky3 was referring to you, just some other people that have some long travel rails that went blasting past his kid. He wasn't really bad mouthing anyone as I read it.
-
Trav you should become a DDR sticker dealer. :headbang: Custom Shop & DDR workin together helpin each other out. :headbang:
-
Very well said, rcjunky3. I agree. People had to see the huge banners and SU truck and trailer! Not only that, but the huge crowd that gathered around it too....
-
I couldn't tow it far because the sides kept falling open, but it worked great for hauling firewood in camp and bags of trash to the dumpsters. The kids had fun hauling each other around camp at night too. :headbang: It was kinda scarey looking though: Little crazy Charlie had it hooked up to his Banshee w/ a couple kids in it! :headbang:
-
Money shouldn't be the drive for people to help keep their favorite place to ride trash free and more important: open! There was a good turn out despite the amount of people that didn't help though. It was just something that bothered me so I figured I'd get it off my chest and post it up.
-
OK, so I have to say something. Despite the good turnout w/ the cleanup this last weekend, I must say this. Duniemonkie & I were picking up trash Saturday AM and I couldn't help but get pissed off at all the idiots riding the dunes, hill shotting, or people passing by looking at us like "WTF are they doing?" Do these people have any clue? :headbang: I even ran into a friend that saw me picking up trash over by comp and she said...."what are you doing out here?" derrrrrr I said, "I am picking up trash!. It's THE CLEANUP WEEKEND!" She said, oh really. Is that why we're here? derrr I wish everyone cared about the dunes as much as me and every other duner picking up trash throughout the dunes this weekend. :headbang:

Protech on Decatur just south of Hacienda 364-0993 My buddy Gabriel owns the place. He is reputable, reasonably priced, and a real nice dude. Tell him Pete from Chevy referred you. He'll take care of you.
-
:headbang: Got any pics of that? :headbang:
-
Good! :headbang: ...the place is already way too crowded on big weekends.
-
What part is it exactly, Mike? Can you post a pic up? The sway bar drop bar? hmmm, trying to think what part you mean but I don't rememebr what kind of truck you have either. Let me know. :headbang:

FNG needs much advise on Truck / Toyhauler without brand names
dunefreak replied to OIF 5-7's topic in Toyhauler/ RV Talk
empty or loaded? Most of these trailers weigh well under 15K empty and some even under that loaded up. -
the new toyhauler was da shiat! Duniemonkie & I loved it! It didn't even feel like we were staying in a t/h. It felt more like a hotel room. :headbang: It was awesome. I had no problems w/ it out on our maiden voyage w/ it either. Having all that extra space was great. The truck pulled it even better than I had ever expected it to! I don't go through Baker to get to Dumont. I go the Tecopa way. But let me tell you what.....up that steep a$$ Mt Potisi hill going to Dumont...60MPH!! 70 MPH going up the back side going home too! Duramax!!! I had this thing loaded down too! 100 gal water, 30 gal fuel, Grizzly, Raptor, YZ250, firewood, BBQ grill, gear, tools, beer, food, etc. The trailer towed great. With all the people telling me this big ol tag trailer would be all over the place I was getting nervous. BUT, nope! It did great. Ask PaulyPaul, he was behind me the whole way home and he was impressed how well this thing towed. I am extremely happy to say the least! :headbang:

One of the Suspensions Unlimited Demo Ride Cars... Raffle/ prize givaway/ FoDD lunch... DDR potluck...(these are the only pics I have- it was dark out ) The DDR cake that Don29palms brought out. Wow! What a fun trip. I had a great time. I was able to get a little bit of riding in, along w/ a whole bunch of partying! :headbang: It was great to meet some new faces and see some familiar ones too. :headbang: We'll definitley have to do it again next year! The cleanup was a good turnout. Suspensions Unlimited did a great job sponsoring the event. Everyone picked up a lot of trash filling both dumpsters up. Thanks to Friends of Dumont Dunes and especially ynot for his hard work he put into this whole cleanup. Also thanks for plugging DDR a couple times over the mic. Cathi (glam_mom), you're awesome. It was nice to meet you and the rest of the SU crew. Thanks a bunch for coming over & helping out with the potluck and hanging w/ DDR. We were glad to have you guys. Everyone else in the DDR camp was great. You guys and gals were true dedicated DDR peeps with supplying some food, help, and most importantly: yourselves. It was a great time. Next year it will hopefully be TWICE as big.

Come camp w/ us, Buster. Look at the threads that are pinned under Dumont Happening & Gatherings. There is directions and talk about this weekend all over on here. Like Don said, just look for the banner and the trucks that have DDR stickers on em and maybe a big ol balloon too w/ DDR on it. Come on out, we'd be glad to have ya. -Pete

Ok here are a couple pics from the ebay ad that the seller took. These will have to hold you guys over for now. You'll just have to come out this weekend to see the rest.
-
You guys are a-holes! I feel the love though! I have been too damn busy to take pics of the inside. I'll see if I can find the ebay ad if it still exists. I think it's long gone though. :rainbow1: But it has a beige themed interior w/ oak cabinets- pretty much like all other toyhaulers I guess. It is nice though.
-
Thanks a bunch guys. :rainbow1: Oh and hey rhino king, I just re-read what you put and realized this.... Hell no there's no friggin flowers on the bed sheets...

Tim (originalpimp) called me last night. He got a spot right on the X on the map. He said it is about 200 yards before bathroom 6, just about a hundred yards from the main road. Camp shouldn't be too hard to find. For those of you that haven't met any of us before in person- don't be shy. Just pull up to camp and park or we'll point out a spot for ya. We expect a bunch of people so we won't look at you wierd if you pull up and we don't recognize somebody.
