So is anyone else going out? So far the only DDR peeps are me, duniemonkie, ISBB, tacomama, lvnalolife, crd450, midknight, 1BADYFZ, sanddunesaddict and a few maybes? maybes: paulypaul, ynot, steveo, 9digit?, justintime?, sandslug? Anyone else I missed?? I'll have the DDR banner up at our camp if anyone feels like stopping by to say hi. Anyone going out this weekend that doesn't have a spot picked out yet is more than welcome to camp w/ us if they want. :headbang: Just roll up flashing your lights or honk your horn and I'll know it's someone from DDR. :headbang:

Yep we should be in the original spot where we camp on most weekends- along the last finger dune :headbang: Me and tacomama and not sure who else will probably be gettin there around 8/ 8:30PM fri night. Duniemonkie is gonna mnake it out Saturday sometime & :headbang:

I think mine has some small separating like in this pic you posted... It must be some cheap caulk/ sealer that can't hold up to the heat on the roof. I'd just go over it w/ some good sealer from HomeDepot or something.

no there is a new pole we put up, Jon. It is at the southern end of Dumont. New landmark!

exactly Sometimes meeting up at the usual spot is hard to tell if new people from DDR are showing up for the ride or if it's just people coming to hang out at the bottom of that hill I'd feel like an a$$ going up to everyone and asking, "are you here for the DDR ride??" Derrrr

Where does everyone want to meet up for the traditional DDR ride on Presidents day weekend? I was maybe thinking we should meet up somewhere other than the usual spot along the bottom of the big face hill. Only because the drags and hill climbs are going to be in that general area and it usually gets a bit crowded and clustered over there. Maybe we could move the meet-up spot farther down or just have everyone that wants to go on the ride meet at the DDR south pole.

superbowl sand is more important! Where is everyone camping at this coming weekend. Anyone wanna camp together?? We should have a small group maybe camping in our normal spot along the last finger dune.

You couldn't have said it better , DSH! I think the same thoughts when lookin at nice pics of Dumont like these. This is why I added the DDR wallpaper page to look at Dumont all day long on my computer that I have on my toolbox at work. It is a constant reminder of why I work so hard. I sink most my hard earned dollars into doing what I love best- duning and camping @ Dumont. (Hence the reason I started this place- DDR ) In my opinion: Dumont is the best place on Earth- PERIOD.

Damn Don, a little harch it seems as far that guy goes , but glad to hear you guys had a nice weekend. I am a bit jealous.

I figured that mailbox would get weathered and maybe beatup a bit, but that primer paint kinda makes me think this was done on purpose. Who brings primer spray paint out on a dune ride??? That really pisses me off that someone has the nerve to do such a thing. Freakin hilbilly a$$holes w/ no damn class. Oh well, they aren't gonna win. I am gonna go buy out Lowes or Home Depot of every mailbox they have so I have em stocked up in my toyhauler on a trip. I will put up a new mailbox every friggin weekend I am out there. I know these a-holes aren't dedicated to Dumont as much as me or the rest of the DDR members that are on this board. They better just hope they never have anyone catch them out there disrespecting the dunes or north pole. They'll have their's comin. :huh: Either way karma is a b*tch.

Well JoeDuner called me today from the north pole to tell me how nice the dunes were...........while I was at work!! :mc_smiley: :mc_smiley: He said they were just admiring our nice new shiney mailbox :mc_smiley: . He said the weather was awesome... about 70 degrees. The dunes were nice and smooth- no tracks anywhere. :huh: :mc_smiley: :mc_smiley: Damn it, you just had to rub it in Joe didn't you! I think his description for the day was something like.... EPIC! I wish I could make it out this weekend, but it is my turn to work a Saturday. Hope to hear all about everyone's trip when you all get back. Dune safe and party hard!
