Sorry, Don. I wasn't taking the pics. Remember? Give Steveo sh*t. There weren't any on my camera, otherwise I woulda posted em.

Ordered up my spindle today! I should have it in about a week! (hopefully)

That was pre-twin turbo obviously. It was TRex's first trip ever to the sand.
-
This was the first day Ryan took out TRex to Dumont. Sandddunesaddict is sitting on his Raptor to the far right of everybody. I was fortunate enough to be up higher on the hill. click here---> Bird_roost_video.wmv oh and BTW, Stephen from V8Rail (spooner) thought Bert's name was Bird, that's why it says Bird roost video! :headbang:

Damn that post was a pain in the a$$ to read! Kenny you need to learn to use some damn punctuation you retard! Just givin ya sh*t. :headbang: Can't wait to see the jumping pics.
-
Sweet! I gotta get one! Damn Mike you move your head back and forth alot! :headbang: I'd like to get one of those for my car! SandYFZ, good job w/ the music timing. Right after you and Sanddunesaddict (Bert) drop down that hill, the part of the song where he screams is perfectly timed for when Mike drops down.
-
No prob, Joe. I see you set your avatar to one of those pics! :headbang: Here's a closer shot of your car that I cropped. It might work a little better, but its up to you.

I was just curious how much $$ I spend in a year for this expensive hobby/sport/addiction/passion/ whatever you wanna call it. So here's my list of expenses for my food, beer, fuel, truck payment, toyhauler payment, insurance, etc. How about the rest of you? Each trip: gas for generator, bikes and sandrail: $50 a tank of diesel for the truck to tow out the toyhauler: $80 food/beer/snacks: $150 misc sh*t that always comes up: $100 Each year: truck payments: $423x12= $5076 toyhauler payments: $180x12= $2160 insurance for truck and toyhauler: approx $200x12= $2400 maintenance for ALL the toys: approx. $100/month x12= $1200 broken parts in a year= let's just say $1000 give or take a grand or two season pass: $60 OHV stickers for all 4 toys: $80 After about 10 big trips per season + monthly & yearly expenses= $15776 :headbang: And that's just Dumont!!! Add about another $1500 for our 3 trips per year top Coral Pink!! Damn I chose and expensive hobby!!! Going to Dumont w/ friends, relaxing, partying, & riding my a$$ off each year= priceless

Here's the pics from New Year's weekend when we stopped for some jumping action....
-
Monday, Jan 16- Martin Luther King Day It's suppossed to be a full moon that weekend too!
-
Josey can definitely handle it, but he is extremely busy right now. Give him a try though.
-
Dave, DDR consists of more than just everyone in our camp. We've got over 300 members! Hopefully anyone else that made it out last weekend came back okay. Oh and JJ, just get in touch w/ me about the paint guy. I'm sure he'll hook it up. As for fabricators, there are many. Josey did an awesome job on my car, but he's really busy right now. Maybe try Mike @ Sin City Sandrails. His work looks very nice and he also specializes in fixing other buggies.

I should be down to go. Hopefully my spindle will come by then. If so, it should be a go for that weekend for me.

(New Years) We want to hear all about this weekend
dunefreak replied to stalteri's topic in 2005/2006 Season
Sure but I'll have to wait till tonight. I am at work till 5ish. I'll get em up though, they look pretty good. -
Yeah that jump is pretty sweet. I found it shortly after I bought my car and usually hit it every dune trip. Its pretty easy to find too, just right behind the superbowl.
-
Overcast almost all weekend. Little bit of sunshine every now and then. It only rained late in the day on Sunday. Pretty windy at times too.
-
huh? Whachoo talkin bout Willis? Thanks
-
Yep, both his kids were in the back seats. Luckily they were ok and took it pretty well.
-
Landed a bit hard on the left front and busted my spindle. :angry2: The car pitched down in the front landing on the the front left wheel at such an angle the spindle snapped. I guess I shouldn't have hit that jump on an angle or that fast either. Time to give Larry a at SSC. Oh well. No biggie other than my buggy driving was cut short for the weekend.

The dark overcast skies made for some interesting pics... FMFLover taking a snapshot (Angela/ PaulyPaul's girlfriend)...
