I think on New Year's we should try and get a pic of everybody from DDR (that has a chance to meet up). I think we should all get our bikes, buggies, etc so we can get a big a$$ picture of everybody and their rides as a group pic in the dunes. What do you guys think? Maybe we can do it after the DDR ride....?

Ok, so once again another big weekend is here and its a good time for most of the peeps on DDR to meet up and go for a ride. Let's all meet up at the bottom of the big face hill. It's the hill that has the big blue light shined on it at night. (It is the same spot as the previous DDR meet up rides we have done) TIME: 2:00 PM Saturday, 12-31-05 / meet up at 2:00 PM and b.s. w/ each other, leave for the ride around 2:30 ish PLACE: the spot on the map/ bottom of the big face hill WHO'S INVITED? everyone quads, bikes, buggies, etc. For those that have a buggy and want to do a buggy run, we can just arrange a time and place for a 2nd ride (buggies only) when we meet up

Later, Nick. Have a good weekend.

What format is it in? If it doesn't take it as an attachment, try putfile.com or just e-mail it to me, pete@dumontduneriders.com

Nice, congrats on the new toy. Car looks nice, JJ.

Someone posted that 70 footer jump on GD, but I coouldn't find it for sh*t! I found another little video of a Rhino jump though---> Rhino jump Still not high enough to clear my sandrail though, Rhinoking.

I sure am! The best part is that can drive my rail now. The broken wrists are pretty much healed up so I will be doing a bunch of duning.

I already got my Christmas present (to myself), my wheels & tires. I sure would love a new 34ft Weekend Warrior toyhauler and maybe a new Raptor700 as well. I'm pretty easy.

Car is just about all fixed up now. I got the frame all touched back up today. My buddy, Ken did a great job matching the paint to the powder coat and blending it. If anyone ever needs something touched up, he is da man! Here are some pics of the frame after touching up a lot of parts on the front end and the 2 holes I had filled on the driver side of the frame. You can barely see the line where the clear bra film is on the last pic. (BTW, Clear Bra is the clear film they put on the front of sports cars and hoods for protection against rock chips, Team Acme Glass & Tint hooked that up)

It's ... www.thecustomshoplv.com, but it doesn't come up...??? Whatup w/ that Trav?

Glad to hear you're ok. :mc_smiley:

I love em! :mc_smiley:

Ok, you can't scream like a little girl, but you can scream (yell to be more desciptive, ok?) oh no, stop stop. I know you remember that sh*t Kenny! You were scared, admit it. It was you're first time in a rail. Hell, I think I might have sh*t a little bit in my pants when I first went over the top of comp in a rail (as passenger). BTW, I'd like to see you jump that golf cart, oh sorry RHINO (whatever), over my car. That would be a sight to see. Oh wait, that's right you said I'm gonna be sleeping- I'll miss it. Good luck w/ that one, Kenny. I'm sure you'll be passed out hours before I'll be out though. Maybe try and jump it around 9/10 am, I'll be sleeping then. -_-

80grit, I won't be there till Fri night. I was gonna try to plan the DDR ride sometime on Saturday like usual. We should at least meet up Fri night if possible before ya leave though. Although it doesn't look like we can ride together before ya leave, get w/ some of the other peeps from DDR for a ride, I know there are a bunch going out much earlier than me and our group. :mc_smiley:

"Young ones".... I'm never one to complain, Dave. I like the older stuff too. Hell, I started listening to classic rock (mostly late 60's/ 70's stuff) when I was like 13. I am cool with playing a bit of both in camp. Just let me know. I draw the line in some cases though- no a$$ rock (AC/DC, DefLeppard, Motley Crue :mc_smiley: ) and of course- country :headbang: I'm know you agree w/ me on that one. Country just flat out sucks.

Me too, only if they were wider. 7" wheels are just too damn narrow. They don't offer them in the 3500 though. :mc_smiley:
-
Thanks again Trav! :mc_smiley: I love em. They make the truck look completely different. I stopped at work on the way home and turned the torsions up a smidge more. They rub juuuust a little when backing up on the front bumper trim, but that's no biggie. I'll just trim it a little more. I'm sure they will rub a little also if I hit something hard enough (on an incline when turned far enough) , but I tried on the way home and no rubbage yet. Oh and hey Trav, thanks for getting some pics and posting them up. The truck looks much better now than when I had on those ugly grey steel stockers.... I still don't know why that's the only wheel you can get in a 3500 1 ton. Doesn't matter though, GM doesn't offer 18's anyways. :headbang: BEFORE...

sweet!! :headbang: Good to hear! Give me a ring when Don gets in town and lets find some time to all get a drink together or something. :mc_smiley:
-
Yeah that's what we used to use and it DID work great. No setup either! :headbang: The only thing is- Bert (sanddunesaddict) is gonna be camping separate from us and noone else has an enclosed trailer like he has. We have used his trailer till now but everybody else has toyhaulers or motorhomes w/ flatbeds. The white tarp on the side of the toyhauler might work even better. We'll see. :mc_smiley:
-
Yep, he's FULL BEAN! :mc_smiley:

Oops. Sorry CrazyMexEddie. I guess I just figured that he would be there no matter what. Sand storm, holiday family gatherings, stuck truck, etc.... :mc_smiley: Don't feel left out Ed, we love ya you crazy mexican. :headbang:
