As long as I make it out there i will be at the meet and greet!!! For those of you who don't know where the South Pole is you will proably see at about 1:45 - 2:00 a bunch of people headed toward the south west corner of the dunes. which from the camps drive straight down the center of the dunes by comp all he way til you hit the flats in the back of the dunes and then head all the way to the right (towards 127) Im sure someone around here has a map of it also.

This is just my I believe in the 3 or 4 heat up cycles myself. but as far as tuning it, if it melted a piston, which it sounds like it did thus the aluminum on the spark plug, then i dont think the carbs were dialed in. It might have seemed like it was runnin perfect but when you get under the load of the dunes it leans out the 2 strokes hard. I feel your pain. ive been in your shoes more than a few times with my R and banshees. not fun. Sorry to hear the bad news. hopefully just a top end will do it and you will be back and running in no time.

for sure man. im planning on being there for halooween weekend. unless something unexpected occurs. be sure to make it to the south pole on saturday the 1st at 2:00 pm for the DDR meet and greet. you will be able to meet a lot of DDR peeps in person out there. if you see me out there feel free to stop by and say what up.

Welcome to the site. I dont have any new plasics for a 250r just OG ones. im not quite sure what your looking for. but if you just finished buildig your R i'd like to see some pictures. Ive built quite a few including my own. If you go to dumont a lot im sure you will see me out there. anyways, let me know exactly what your looking for and i might have some suggestions

Whats up everone. I just recently moved to the Vegas area from Cali. I was just curious on the quickest way to dumont? Do most of the people in vegas go the back way through pahrump or just south on the i-15 to 127???? Help is appreciated Also, I run VP 110 race gas in my bike and dont know where to get it. Any suggestions???

i have a 05 cummins. i bought my truck used from someone who towed a little bit with it and ever since i got it ive been towing all kinds of stuff including my toybox. right when i got the truck the check engine light went on and i noticed that sometimes it would start out in 2nd gear and it would start shiftin funny, so i got it looked at and the trans pressure sensor and solenoid went out, so i put a new solenoid and sensor and it made it a lot better but messed it up a little for the time it was driven like that. once i towed with it all season it started slippin and gradually got worse. i already know that when you chip trucks and make them faster the trans. tends to go out on MOST ANY truck cause its just not built for that kind of power and wears it out quicker. so i think thats part of the reason mine went out, SO instead if rebuilding like factory, i BEEFED IT UP LIKE MY TRUCK HAS 700HP. upgraded the converter to a billet triple disc and upgraded the valvebody with all new gears and everything. now my truck tows better, stronger and shifts PERFECT. sucks that it went out and cost me 3k to rebuild it the way i wanted, but pretty much it is BULLET PROOF now just like the CUMMINS MOTOR!!!!!

Yep, funny you should say somethiong. March 28th so happens to be my 21st birthday and bad religion is one of my favorite bands. along with strung out before them. its goin to be awesome!!!!

nice pic Pete. ive been workin on that thing a bunch and its gotten a lot nicer and more reliable and cooler lookin. so far everyone likes the new "snorkel" that thing is a blast. it goes everywhere and anywhere in the dunes. you prolly see it a lot. it barely gets parked when we bring it out there. :kart: Tony

We went out for a day trip on Saturday. Everything went good. Weather was awesome, not busy at all. As for my bike, i noticed it was really doogin out and not runnin good, then found out towards the end of the day that my SPARK PLUG WAS WOUND ALMOST ALL THE WAY OUT !!! Tightened it up and it was runnin strong again. The Jeep ran real good. had a couple of good Dune rides in it and it did awesome up Banshee Hill. Kept up and almost beat a couple of raptor 700's. a lot peoples faces were in aww when they saw it runnin like that. If you were there you prolly know what Jeep I am talking about, its red with a raw metal rool cage, no fenders with semi paddles and it looks like something that you would find at a junk yard. Ohh, and then last ride out before the day was over, did a second gear wheelie in the camps and caught a hard spot and looped it out . didnt feel to good, but at least the bike is alright. All in all GOOD DAY!!

Day trip on Sat. Ill be rollin in about 9am Sat morning and leaving Sat evening. Driving grey Dodge 3500 with alumionum car hauler trailer with a few quads, including mine. WOW! What a weekend. Got a new helmet cam and it is awesome. some of you prolly seen me wearin it and your prolly in some videos!! I even held it in my hand while riding in a friends long travel. First off, firtst 20 min. we were there a friend of mine loops out a cr 500 dirtbike and gets it good. camp wasnt even set up yet. My brothers bike ran good at first, then like s***, then good, then BOOOOMMM! Good bye 3rd brand new top end. I have hardly ever ridden a dirt bike. and never in the sand. so what do i do?? get on the same CR500 my friend looped out and decided to go to another friends camp. no big deal get there everything is good. then we go to watch a sandrail do some wheelies and i end up taking the CR 500 into the dunes and actually duned this SUICIDAL machine. suprisingly i never went down, but i scared the holy f'n hell out of myself. ill tell you that the saying "When in doubt, Wind it out" is very well true. saved my a few times. on our way back some jerk cuts off my friend on his 250r and he hits a witches eye and flies off the bike and tumbles hard quite a few times. I dunes the hell out of my jeep all over the place and it ran really good. did awesome through the dunes. My bike ran awesome also. Overall, i had a great weekend where a few friends were pretty sore, but no serious injuries everything wa alright. so the weekend was pretty good!!

Yup ill be there this time for sure!!! I missed it last time and it was a great turn out, im not missin it again!!

im goin to have some fun on halloween this year! me and a couple buddies will probably be dressin up and ridin around so you will probably be seein us!! And i will also be dressin this beast up
