do not let the air down unless u feel it kinda draggin...u dont wanna let it down and then find out u didnt really need to after all..with the small compressors itll sometimes take an hour to fill all the tires back up if u do let air down let it down on ur truck for traction....the trailer should be your last resort its a 20 foot trailer...not that heavy...sounds like u got a pretty decent truck...if u got thicker tires there should be no problem at all but i know how soft that sand can get so just be prepared if u do start slowin down

he also said hes expecting gas to get up to 8-10 dollars better our economy??? ha...im movin to the persian gulf if that happens

enough to have a range of 20-24 inches unfortunately i look a lil big on it but hey while everyone else is complainin about their backs hurtin and their arms goin to fall off im ready to go another 50 miles lets talk about those paddles now on the dirtbike i donno wut i have but it works and thats all that matters + it was free and thats my favorite price

how does it do on the turns or the side of a ridge it seems like the center of balance would be off because its a lil high off the ground wouldnt it tip?? if u got the suspension set up to absorb the turns and crouch down i guess it would stay on its feet how do u keep it from goin over??

nice...u can read the label stop ur trash talkin and put em on...if u dont have a 450 then dont contribute unless u know wut ur talkin about. if theyre a hill tire then they wouldve already been garbage by now...we've had em for 3 years and theyve still got all the paddles on em if uve never ridden with em then how do u know the use of em if they work fine on my 450 theyll work fine on any other 450 and u heard it from CHIEF JOE padla brats is what u go with on a 450 unless ur doin 100 foot gaps as for the built banshee part im talkin bout pipe filter tires and ported cylinder..thats wut most of em got just short of drag...it could be the riders experience of course http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...?showtopic=8346 wut its got is wut u see i ride the 450s every once in a while with the dunes gettin torn to sh*t every time i go there i decided to get a dirtbike for the 24 inches of travel

if ur not gonna ride until next season wait until then i dont think the tire price changes much that way next time you go out u can check all of em out see whos runnin wut it all depends on ur preference. the only thing about the padla brats is that u dont wanna do 80 foot gaps and land on the flats if ur gonna be hittin large jumps u want a thicker tire but if ur just dunin its a great tire of course it will pop if u take it up amargosa river...it might tear the paddles off as well but thatll do it to any paddle. yeah they are fragile. ours go flat every now and then because we didnt grease the beed to keep the sand out but theres no holes in the rubber and ive taken it up to the top of the rocky hill on the south end of the dunes we did bend the rim tho because of a crash off an atc track but it bent right back but on the flats weve NEVER had a pop and we've got 3 sets if u dont like em let me know and ill admit i was wrong and everyone else is right as for skat tracs...those are AWESOME...the slide on em is CRAZY but they are more for the banshees but ive seen em on a few 450s and they do aight its personal preference not which tire is the best its which is the best for wut u wanna do

then dude...throw em on...u may have em in ur shop but that doesnt mean uve tried em...wut r u gonna do...take the tires out...o i dont like em let me clean em up and put em back on the shelf...and ur age doesnt matter either...they havent been out for too long...i dont see em in the shops either u have to try out every tire...and if u say dirt wheels gets payed to lie about a tire...well then they actually got this one right...theres also other reviews...but these were done about a year after the yfz came out so the tires may have upgraded. my uncles got some sand geckos on one of his yfzs and some other paddles with the rough edges on his other yfz. i rode both of em....the tires were just diggin in and the slide on em sucked. the one thing i liked about the sand geckos is that the roost on em was the best ive seen but it would tip over before it would slide. dont take my word and dont take anybodys word learn from experience not product price or what it says on the label if u ever get some into ur shop...take em out and let it down to 3 lbs u cant enjoy em by just lookin at em

HILLSHOOTER??? i thought hillshooters were those small tires they put on the stroker banshees these are dunin tires dirt wheels did a review on it and said that these were the best tires for any 450 hill shooters dont have razors as the front tires theyve got 3 things i love about em they slide...makin cornering easier they get good grip while ridin a ridge or goin up to the top of comp...every paddle grabs and they roost like crazy on the turns a six paddle would not work on a hill shooter...it needs like 9 paddles but for a regular trx a 6 paddle does wonders and an 05 trx is exactly what we got if uve never tried em then dont talk i have never seen anyone out there with these tires...they all are shootin for whos got the most paddles if the season wasnt over id come up there and let u ride it so that u could feel the difference

dont do that listen to this ive got a trx 450 with paddle brats on the front and razor backs on the front with only the paddles i beat a built banshee up the hill every time 7 paddles is too much...the motor needs to rev up and with that many paddles it causes resistance alot of these people are givin u the names of paddles that weigh 20 lbs EACH cmon man...dont u think thats a little to much weight the paddle brats are 7 lbs...i can lift it with my pinky the razor backs are 6 lbs when u get goin the tires just LIGHT UP we got 6 paddles and everyones wonderin wut we got in the motor...its all the paddles before we bought em we did a bunch of research and looked at all of the tests these were by far the best for the dunes they are comp gooved so dont go over any rocks http://www.sandtiresunlimited.com/sandtire1.html#brat check it out its just the regular padla brat and the razor back underneath it they also slide farely well and grip like crazy i could cruise up the steep side of comp hill ive never gotten stuck with those on my bike

nah we aint goin up probably till memorial pismo sounds like a good idea right now but yeah i just started ridin dirtbikes this year i used to ride a quad and i was VERY good my dad taught me everything dont get me wrong there are people out there who are just as good or even better i wasnt about speed cuz anyone can do that i was about doing all the tight turns and whippin that back end around and stickin it on the ridge goin up the back side of comp hill...real riders will do that...test their limits...see how slow they can go while riding a ridge....and yes i know theres people who do that but then u get those people who talk $h!+ and when u take them on a ride they cant take the turns or ride the ridges. i dont really ride a quad much anymore...too rough but ill get on it every now and then to keep it in my brain same goes for buggys...ive seen a bunch of people haulin @$$ through the dunes that doesnt mean anything...all they do is push their foot on the gas and then theres the select few who will take a turn and see how narrow they can make it. its also about how much fun u have the rider havin the most fun is the rider who is learning the most there is no best rider there is no worst rider there is just us and the dunes in front of us one day u will race a guy and smoke him up comp the next day u get ur @$$ handed to u

you dont change out parts unless u know whats wrong the old carburator probably had nothing wrong with it if u didnt find anything out of place then theres nothing wrong check the idle and tune it... i had an rc where they said that sand got in the motor and it would be $100 to replace the piston and cylinder i took it apart myself...absolutely nothing wrong with the cylinder or piston the carburator which was on top had a little sand in it keeping the fuel from getting in i coulda started with the carburator first and blown the sand out and been done in 5 minutes it sounds like u just went out and bought the carb without even diagnosing the problem
