That looks pretty good. I guess it wont be as easy to widen up the rear because of the trailing arms? Aside from spacers...

installed bilstien 5100's on the d-max
rushjunkie replied to Richard Cheese's topic in Truck, Jeep, & Car talk
Rode in my cousin's truck the Sulastic installed. Definitely helped. Not much was transmitting into the cab on the freeway. Gonna put those bad boys on my d-max. -
Plug the VIN in your state's DMV website to calculate fees. It will decode it there. Otherwise a quick google search will pop up some VIN decoders. Kick start means it has an aftermarket or donor engine. Good luck and....

if those fall through, i have one off my 82 sitting in the garage. Let me know if you need it.

Nice find Pete! I bet that thing rides like a Caddy through the desert...

Here's an extreme close-up of my 2.5yr old little girl being a goof ball...

Maybe this will work? BB gun is fun, but won't keep them away.

^^^^^ Yeah, what freak said. I was finally able to make a day trip to the D and not have to worry about loading the hauler and dump tanks and wash and .... We basically rode all day. The dunes were so smooth, I didn't want to stop tearing it up. Made it back home and unloaded in less than 3 hours (damn, I wish I lived in vegas) Thanks Pete for leading some bada$$ rides :rainbow1: We'll have to do it again!

Had this out on a ride yesterday. Worked fine, didn't lose power at all but all we rode were smooooth dunes. Wished it read the mph in large numbers so I can actually read it while riding. Should come in real handy for desert riding and Glamis.

Let me know where you like to park and I'll meet up with ya... Text me!

Just added 14hp for tomorrow's run! Can't wait...

Should be pulling in around 830-900. Let me know. Wouldn't mind chasin you around the dunes again!!

Need a sand fix before it gets hot. Just a couple of us going as of now. Anybody else gonna be out there?
-
Won't need this too much at Dumont, but since i won the Garmin in a raffle and i'm planning a trip to Glamis and it gives mph I decided to buy a mount and try this.

next year, I'm gonna smoke these old guys...

You are absolutely not the only one who feels that way. My wife, whom I was just dating at the time, came home one day with a puppy that she saw at an adoption drive. Neither one of us were planning on getting another dog yet, and I've always had big dogs. I thought I'd never get into this little guy, but Lucky has been around now for about 5 years and the house wouldn't be the same without him. My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves him to death. Poor guy has had a bad hip for a couple years and he may need surgery, but he's always in a good mood so it will get done no matter the cost. Sorry to hear about Dune's trouble. They really are like another member of the family.

Awesome vid!!

I owe him a pair too. Did it that way on my '82. Got her home late last night, so didn't get to mess with it until this morning. Took some air out of the tires, adjusted the handlebars, adjusted the carb a little and chased a couple stray cats around the block. bike pulls pretty good until it pops out of gear. Feels like the clutch slips then it just gently comes out of gear. Could be a combination of things???

This thing will keep me busy after the other two are done... 1. Bent frame (Slightly) 2. Slipping clutch 3. Broken exhaust bolt my wallet is gonna hate me... :atc:

That number plate is big enough to use as a windshield!

It's an addiction... Couldn't help myself. Cheap and running. Haven't even finished the first one and I'm adding another to the fleet. :ahhhhh:
