Hey Eric, I left a message for you the other day. What time do you guys start. I have some slow time coming up where I can take a day off if your willing to give me a ridealong, I know all the signals if you need a signal man. I can make it out there in about 40 mins from Covina.

I love people, they are the best.

I sent one. Not that any california legislator actually listens to thier constitiuents and votes based on what the people want. But I sent it anyway.

New story here: I'm getting on the 210 freeway this morning from Azusa Ave as I do every morning at 5:30. The main difference that seperates today from other days is the fact that heard a noise that sounded like stuff banging on a flatbed semi-trailer. As I'm lookin at the freeway lanes (I'm at the light on the on-ramp), my eye catches a flash on the other side of the freeway (eastbound lanes). There is a full size semi-truck and trailer sliding on it's side down all 4 lanes of traffic at about 50 mph, ON FIRE!!! :ah: There was sparks and smoke and chit flying all over the place. Cars were slamming on the brakes and sliding every which way. Now the only reason I am saying this is because no one got hurt, but it was AWSOME!!! I tried calling 911 but now it's like calling a credit card company to dispute a charge, they actually have a menu where you have to choose between a non-emergency or urgent situation . So I gave up on that and called KROQ 106.7 instead. I told the phone op that there was a flaming big rig on its side in the middle of the freeway, she was impressed. :angry2: http://www.myfoxla.com/myfox/MyFox/pages/s...mp;locale=EN-US So that's my story of the day.

Thanks Stalteri, but I think I'm going to have to cancel this trip as well. I just got word that a good buddy of mine is pretty much on his deathbed. Some of you might remember my friend Ryan from New Years 07/08, Sincityblondie and all the airforce peeps. Have fun if you guys are heading out this weekend. P.S.- if anyone has an extra liver laying around, He could really use it.

Everybody, raise your hand if you care. -
Well I was planning to go to Glamis with a buddy of mine and his family when I just now heard that the trip has been cancled. Surprise, Surprise So myself and girlfriend all ready with no place to go. Maybe a buddy of mine with his 2 kids, but he is not for sure. If anyone doesnt mind a few extra people in camp, please let me know. We are completely self-sufficient. Thanks, Sean and Tami.

Com'mon, guys been workin on Chevys for 35 years, He does know his chit. He said mine was different from others for some reason, he never had that problem before. :hungry:
-
That's why I let someone else get the headache over it. The guy I went to spent an hour and a half on #3 I think it was, next to the steering link. I guess he had to bend a wrench to fit it in there. Said it was the worst one he has ever had to do.

Survey Says...Clogged injector in cylinder 4. I guess those trips to D and G are coming back with me in the gas tank. I use 76 gas too, never buy the cheap crap. :hungry: Guess I need to start using the injector cleaner more often (never did before ) Had a mini tune up done too, new belt, New plugs, new distributer cap. Ready to roll now. He also siad that the DEX-COOL antifreeze that GM recommends should be flushed every so often, corrosive build-up? :?: P.S.-Hey 'Freak, should I just generally change injectors when I hit a certain mileage or will they just go out whenever?
-
Get in my truck sunday morning and, , WTF is that, thats not the way it should sound. The thing is missing, so I pop the hood, check all the plug wires at the distributer and plugs. It's all good, except for the missing cylinder. Well this sucks extra bad because I plan to make a trip to Glamis on friday night. I'm taking it up to a good Chevy guy my dad knows and get it checked out. Hopefully it doesnt cost me an arm and a leg. Wish I lived in Vegas so I can take it to 'Freak for the DDR hookup. By the way, it's a 2001 S-10, 4.3l 6 banger if this has happened to anyone else and you have a suggestion.

The perks of being prez huh. I gotta get my own website now. Hey ISBB, my offer to you is a 18 pack a week.
-
Check your PM's Dumontdue10-You have to be 18 to obtain a Class B license.
-
Better yet, spend some time and change all the negative info into positive info. I garantee you that the person who runs the site wouldn't even notice for at least a week.

I think it's a great idea that would be tough to get off the ground. The day at Glamis is alot of fun because of the different events that go on throughout the day. Duning during the day, drags at dusk, then Olds at night. Some guys here tried getting a set time to hit comp or banshee hill last year after the meet n greets at 3:00 but it never really took off. http://www.dumontduneriders.com/invision/i...rights&st=0 Take a stroll through this thread. It would be cool to find a nice roller back there as a kicker for wheelies like at gecko. I always thought it would be really cool to find a nice big "S" type bowl to watch the rails and quads come rumbling through too. I'm just a dreamer.

It's almost a proven fact that cold weather comes with a cold economy. I think a lot of cold records are set in "economic downturn" years.

I guess I should stop drinking at work. Especially since I'm driving all day. -
:gayboy: :moon: :drunk2: and pass out probably by 10 pm like last year. Not specifically in that order.
