Instead of having a big DDR camp, why not break up into several smaller circles all within a small area. This little gig sounds cool though. If it happens I would be down to head out.

Question about Stars and Bars flying around the dunes
ltr450rider replied to WHIZ's topic in General Chat
If someone can fly the Mexican flag, I can fly whatever-the-hell flag I wish. -
I have never laughed so hard at a picture. That is soooooo damn funny. I need the "Pee'd my Pants" smiley

Oh shizz! You actually went to Inglewood Cheese. That's completely against what you stand for. Did you notice how all the buildings are fairly new? I noticed that when we do boards in that craphole.

If he's looking at any construction job, Tell him to look up the Operating Engineers Training Trust Local 12. They are desperate for Special Inspectors out there. Looks like I'll be moving to Vegas because they are so desperate for trained people, which is what I'm doing. $21.74hr first day of work $1.60 raise every 1000 hours, 6000 hr apprentiship, fully paid for. around $36.00 hr when you journey out.

what were some ofthe best jobs you had, and why
ltr450rider replied to Richard Cheese's topic in General Chat
I started out working at the local bicycle shop when I was 16, which was my dream job at the time. Worked there until I started feeling like the place was being driven into the ground by the owner, and the pay really sucked. But a fun job. Now I work for a crane co. and we do billboards. This job is so much fun for me, I'm a lil' bit of a daredevil so the danger of it is alot of fun. We work at alot of cool locations, I've been in the film vault at the Warner Bros. studios, The HBO offices, I worked at the Fox studios today, and everywhere in Hollywood and West LA, occasioanlly in San Diego. But I'm currently in the works of moving to L.V. for a special inspection job through Local 12. -
That's right, Chevy baby

Hey Effer that was the first thing I got after you told me. :shocked2: It was actually $18 at Mountian Motorsports, I didn't want to wait for it. It's all good

If you're boggin in 5th through the dunes, then you want to go down a tooth on the front, but, you will lose some of your top end in the flats. I went down a tooth on my LTR and that made the biggest difference for me on the hill and in the dunes. If you go up a tooth, you'll be haulin' azz on the flats but that's about it.

I live about 3 miles away from the St. James house, where Moe the chimp lived, and the dude who got his ____ ripped off by the other chimps at the monkey jail. They live on a busy street on the way to the West Covina mall and they used to have a bunch of signs and crap in thier front yard that said "bring Moe home". People used to honk to show support untill it got so bad that the city passed a "No Honking" ordinance only in front of thier house and put "No Honking" signs up in either direction of traffic. I never honked before, but I do now. -
I was driving through Palm Springs on the way back from Havasu looking at all the trains stopped thinking, "I wonder what happened" Well now I know. :shocked2:

POSITIVE Highlights from 2007/2008 Dune Season
ltr450rider replied to sand chick's topic in Dumont Happenings
Was my first full season at the dunes. < this guy knows what he's talkin about. I think it's so cool that I was able to camp and ride with some great people by just dropping the DDR word. As someone who has some flaky azz friends, that really is priceless, thank you to everyone who welcomed me into your cirlce. It was just a great season learning how to ride and spending it with some even better people. :shocked2: -
Well I was thinking about taking the grille off my truck and paint it black. But damn, now I'm all discouraged and thinking I'll end up having to paint my whole truck. Oh well, back to original plan>>>

That's a good idea about the mormons or any religious solicitors. I usually just yell profanities and act all crazy with the door closed untill they leave my porch. I've had some awsome time's with that.
