Just checking. I can't use the wheels They won't fit on my Rhino but would be interested in the tires. I only see three?? Is there a forth? How much if you don't sell them for a RZR as soon as you want to? What size are the wheels, maybe the tires won't fit my wheels. Thanks

They do have a dry camping area also. The Oregon thing is what we did last year. A great trip for sure!

I thought it might be really cool to plan to go on a trip to the Idaho Dunes (Saint Anthony) next summer as a group. What is your feeling about trying to put something together like this . I can sssure you that it is gorgeous up there. The dunes are incredible. Bigger than Dumont and not as crowded. I've been there twice and stayed at Idaho Dunes R.V Resort and wished that I had stayed longer than the 4 days each time. The campgroun has full hook ups if you want, a store and Side by side rentals and showers too. It has a new play ground for the kids and is only a short trip to the town of Rexburg. It has a dump station and little dust that i remember. What do you think? It's 11 hours from my house in Las Vegas to the Idaho Dunes. Right up I-15 thru S.L.C into Idaho and north of Idaho Falls. I talked to quite a few people Halloween weekend about this and so many said they wanted to go but hadn't yet. I'm putting out feelers to see how many folks might be interested in trying to put something together!!

I have to chuckle about this one. When driving out of Dumont on Monday mid morning Halloween weekend, a white dually coming in, long after all of the LE"s had gone home, flagged me down to stop. It was Ron, the BLM maintenance guy and he asked to see my pass. I've talked to Ron several times and don't know if he really reconized me or not. I told him jokingly " I never buy a pass" and he responded "I don't believe you" and continued on his way into the dunes. I assume to clean the restrooms. BLM is financially down in Barstow so they have the maintenance people checking for passes too.

Runs don't have to fast to be fun! Ask me.....I couldn't go fast if I wanted to. I just enjoy getting out in the dunes for a ride. In these times, on a busy weekend, it shows good judgement to go slower and watch for other people that may have less experience, don't see the danger of overdriving or just plain have more money than brains, enabling them to drive way over their heads. What scares the hell out of me are all trucks that are now able to do the dunes and the way they drive. Also the 3000 # cars that are so fast that are such a mismatch in an accident with a quad or smaller rail. I'm wit you Pete, off weekends are for riding and Holidays are for watching all the mayhem, camp fires at night and throwing back a few!!! :blah:

It wasn't that bad. They both like to ride in the Rhino. I didn't know that dogs need to pee and poop that many times a day though. Drop by or call me sometime and I;ll tell you about a wandering drunks experience with meeting them both in the middle of the night! Funny as hell!

Talked to Larry Blaine (BLM) yesterday and he said neasrly 3600 "clicks: on their entry counter. They figure 3 1/2 people per vehicle. 12,000 foflks??? He did say it's the biggest Haloween in some time. No fatals for a change, just a couple of bad wrecks. Good to see a lot of you out there this weekend!!! The dogs and I had a good trip.........except Wed. It blew like crazy!!! Awful smooth dunes Thursday and Friday before they got torn up!!

Since I started to block the tires off the ground and let the air down a bunch when I store it for over a month or two and run the max air pressure stated on the tire I have had no problems. It really must work! That's two years of trips to Idaho and Oregon and numerous trips to Dumont too. I do keep them shaded form the sun with covers too. What it doesn't help is when I cut the cormer to tight at a gas station and pinch the sidewall and blow one in Oregon. I don't think that counts.

Terry, take your tow strap and a sand shovel for me and I might............never mind, I'll bar tend! I'll stop by your camp on Thursday evening to check out the surprize and I have something for you too! Pat
