  1. Omly open May until October. 5,000 ft altitude and heavy snows!
  2. I could do a night trip, like pitchin a tent on the trailer and bringing the rail. Done that before! I think I can keep up with a Quad for a while!!!!! ..........Sounds like fun!! Firm it up and let me know young un!

  4. Good luck Nick! It will be well worth the short trip if a 4 seater is available. If not, maybe Mike will work something out to get you two rigs for the price of one so you will go up and stay for a week or so when you have the time for a super trip! Hey Mike read the site more often!!!!!!
  5. READ THIS AND VOTE! THEN SEND TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!Attorney General, Eric Holder, has already said this is one of his major issues. He does not believe the 2nd Amendment gives individuals the right to bear arms. This takes literally 2 clicks to complete. Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today. It will only take a few seconds of your time. Then pass the link on to all the pro gun folks you know. Hopefully these results will be published later this month. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the Supreme Court's accepting the District of Columbia case against the right for individuals to bear arms. Here's what you need to do: First - vote on this one…. Second - launch it to other folks and have THEM vote - then we will see if the results get published in the paper. The Question is: "Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?" Click on the link below and vote! USATODAY.com - Quick Question Please keep this moving!
  6. Have fun, I know we did. Maybe you can make up for my foopaw of not takiing pix. Sept should be good campfire and snuggling weather at night.
  7. Welcome to Dumont Dune Riders site Mike! Hey Mike, I didn't get to meet you when we were both there July 9th - July12th. I saw you but you were to busy riding too. We had a great trip and plan to stay much longer next year and forgo the Oregon Dunes part of the trip. Just way too much driving to catch both. 7-10 days for me and hopefully the rest of our group, next year to explore more of the dunes. Maybe you can castch the DDR 70's regatta at Dumont, it's a hoot and becoming quite the event. Looking forward to meeting you down the road. Pat
  8. Again Nick??? That's unamerican at the bare minimum. It should be a Federal Crime not to enjoy that place if so close! Put some wheels on your Lap Top at least or go to Idaho Dunes RV and rent something. You have to go!!!!
  9. Sorrry Pete, I was so busy riding I din't even think about taking pictures. I had so many opportunitys it makes me sad to think I didn't take any still pix, I do have some Go Pro stuff but not even a lot of good videos to share. It is so awsome there you would have a wet dream just remembering the triip!! Hope you make it soon, it will test your apptitude at driving there. It's georgous but can be very dangerous too. See you soon! Me
  10. Just a sample of what you can ride on there!
  11. Saint Anthon's for 4 days and Oregon Dunes for 4 more days took care of my summer sand fix. A lot of driving between but it was well worth it to spend time with Rocket and Bride and other friends for 17 days. Just got back yesterday! No pix but lots of Video. Next year it's probably only St anthony for more days, really like that place. Lots of riding and a lot less driving! Also, Randy VW was in the area and stopped by for a day ride with us. He and his family were on vacation too.

  15. It does what it is designed to do. I also have the computer ubs cable and a lighter plug in cord so you don't use up the battery. I'm still looking for those and the manual too, I know i have them somewhere. It's a senior moment most of the time and more and more frequently as I age!! !
  16. Thanks, I thought he wanted something more sophisticated. I would get a break on frieght.......He's a mile from me! Thanks
  17. I've had this a coule of years and really never used it! Any body want it for $50? Origional cost was about $100. Like new condition! I'll pay the frieght1 Thanks, pat
  18. Haven't missed Haloween in many many years, or most of the major weekends. Now that more of my friends are retired there should be more off weekends too. Going to be a good season for sure!:cocktail:
  19. Holy " Wasp" Batman!!! cheese is Outta bounds!!!!:no_no: .............................................
  20. I occationally haul my Rhino in my short bed truck and the rear wheels ride on the tail gate like you see in the picture. You may already do this but I hade a little stand to take the weight off the tail gate bsy putting it on the bed section Wood block would work too instead of the stand. I jack it up just a tad and place the stand under the frame to elininate boucging all the weight on the tail gate. Then snug it down with nylon ties.
  21. Just a suggestiion: post up some pictures of what this set up is. Put in more details like what is in the motor and what case the tranny has etc. Good Luck with the sale......There are very few VW rails out there any more, me being one but.....
  22. Have you got any more pictures of the inside?
  23. That statement by the Cali guy is good. I hope the Congress, in it's infinate wisdom and superior decision making history, doesn't over rule him!! I'll just bet the tree huggers are their eyes out.
  24. Are they uppers, I just need a couple, maybe 4 if they fit in my toy hauler. How much do you want for them? I should have measured first. all I can use are the ones that go over the stove or refridgerator. No more than 18 inches tall. Thanks, Pat
  25. Give me 30 bucks and it's yours. Has a great picture. Has only been used in the RV and not that much. I'm replacing it with a flat screen so this has to go. I'm pretty sure I have a remote for it too..........? Thanks,
