My rig isn't all that big and I do have a 3/4 ton truck but a few times I worried about the Vegas side of the Potisi Hill coning towrds Vegas. I have a toy hauler that is 26 ft. What I do is top it out at 50 at the fire station and don't let it go more than 55 coming down. I do leave it in tow mode and it seems to do just fine. I can tell if I'm going to fast when Ihit the brakes since my truck tends to take out rotors really fast and tend to shudder if it's too much of a load to stop with the electric brakes. Let the cars wait, it's not wotrth wrecking to let them go 70 down the hill!!!

Pretty Impressive!!!!! Where does it stop? To me, and probably only me in this case........this is just too much power and speed to do the dunes safely. Yes I'm old and still like speed and power but....To me, it's just another opportunity for more people with too much money and not enough sand dune brains to go out and hurt, or worse others.....some people can have and enjoy the performance and others will abuse the new RZR and hurt themselves or others. Nothing new right????

p.s.....I am told by reliable sources that they tend to tighten up pretty soon. Mine is backfiring when I shut it off so it's time I tink!!

jJust for info, Tonys company quit doing the truck load deals they used to do for 20-30 bucks. Now it is 50 to the railes and 70 to fill it up! Crap! That was a killer deal but I guess 50 isn't a deal breaker.

Time to adjust the vavles on my 06 660 Rhino. I found a site with the service manual on it for the Raptor and want to make sure the motor is the same. I've never worked on a motorcycle engine before so willl try it with this documentation and your input on the motors being the same. Thanks, Pat

Shame on them for not watching DDR then!!! Their problem!

I have no idea what your problem is but....When I went to Windows 7 my videos would stop to buffer more and download of videos was much slower. Just the other day I contacted my computer manufacturer to see if something could be done. Low and behold he had me do a couple of things at the "command prompt" program and it went to operating much better. Maybe you have the same option.

Can you go up to the 2.3? Should be a lot easier to find one of those.

1st off, For those that saw the ranger and fire trucks at the camp by telephone hill yesterday, that was a medical call not a law inforcement issue. A motorcycle rider flew over the hanle bars in the dunes and broke both wrists. In talking to the Ranger I know when I was leaving yesterday, he informed me that he is at Dumont all off weekends now along with BLM fire. This has something to do with the new fee agreement. Fire will handle the medicals. Expect to be checked for passes too. Now if we could just get the grader out there once in a while on off weekends........ P.S. The entrance road wasn't to awful bad yesterday.

I don't purchase anything, regardless of the price, without thourghly checking out the product. I have also found that the premium stuff can also have "issues". My stock battery in the 06 still had a little bit of life in it but not enough for me to trust it as much and as far as I sometimes go. Others should check, as I did, prior to buying anything. This happened to have a good warantee from a National Company and like I said compared favorably to the origional battery that lasted 5 yeats. I'm not sure that "skimping" is the correct term for saving some bucks when possible.

Priced out a new battery for my 06 Rhino. Some folks think they are gold instead of lead filled. Ended up at Battery Plus in Vegas and got a battery that fits perfectlly. It's only 40 cranking Amps lower that the stock battery. Paid 36.99 with a core battery against up to 140 bucks at ATV parts suppliers. check it out

Yup, will work on that for next season! Already checkin my options!!
