Sticker shock for sure. After 120K miles on my F250 Power Stroke it finally broke. Just to replace a couple of wires and a main hub or connector box of some sort and replace a couple sensors it is nearly 2K. Jeesh!!!! Back in the old days any vehicle could be done at home for a h*ll of a lot less than that. But then I was working making about 2 bucks an hour!!!!!!! Now I'm retired and not making anything!!!!! What the h*ll???????

This weekends trip is way up in the air...Bobs Truck is in the Dealership for repairs and he hasn't heard for sure when he is getting it back, as of yesterday!!! I had to put mine in the shop too and it is going to cost me about 2k to get if fixed and I'm not for sure when I will get it back either! It's been a "Sh*tty" week for Ford trucks!!!!! :trickortreat: so all depends on when we get our trucks back! I'm not sure which day I will go next week now. I will let you know what's up when I can!

I can't stay up with you on the straight runs but I will give you fits on a trail ride if I'm leading. They don't call me the "Sand Flea" for nothing!!!! I can turn faster than you can "F*rt" :trickortreat: Might see you halowween!

Look me up when your out there, I'm standard travel too and need riding partners. Look for the Ford 4 door pickup and my 26ft. toy hauler usually right across from the old host site. I fly a U.S.flag styled wind sock too. Usually a huge Alfa toy hauler with me with a grey/charcol Ford Pickup. Kinda turquoise colored itty bitty rail with an old fat guy driving it!! Goes for you too cole!!! And I always carry a Tow Strap if you do break the motor!!! I also have some shocks that might work on that car that you can have .....so yu can owe me a favor!!! Maybe you can buy my new 2180 so I am forced to put in the subi now!!!!

Yup, disc, pressure plate and slave cylinder. About all I'll have to buy is the adapter plate and the alternator mount since it had PS and AC that the alternator mounted too. Will need to see what I have to do like change the fllywheel to work with the VW starter and hope to be able to build the Harness with my son in law to be, he's a certified mechanic specializing in electrical. It has every single wire harness w/relays etc. for the car! Has the down pipe w/Oxy sensor too. Don't really need the front cross member with all the steering. :beer_bang: I've got some stuff I can sell or trade like AC, power steering all kinds of stuff! Have it fairly well stripped down to the bare engine. Got that done today! At first it will be totaly stock so the install should be fairly easy.
