Wifes Purse Stolen 12/26 @Terribles Bowling Allley
sandawg replied to sandawg's topic in Lost & Found or Stolen
She left it on the back of the toilet in a stall, noticed it right away went back in and it was gone. The tweekers were at a table close to the bathroom and were probably watching the restroom for just this chance! She is fried, since she usually guards her purse like a hawk. We're going back to Morell Park today and scan the trash cans again. A guy found her phone last night and called us. Now for the purse, hopefully with her ID still in it! Fat Chance! :angry2: :angry2: :angry2: :shoot: :shoot: -
Wifes Purse Stolen 12/26 @Terribles Bowling Allley

We did all that. We even checked all the dumpsters along Boulder Hiway, just in case. Also, don't expect it will do any good with these P's O S., left a message on her phone, that was in the purse, to keep her X-mas money and gift cards and just let us know where they threw the purse away!!!!! We want the ID stuff. Only a couuple of hundred in cash and gift cards! About a days "tweek" for those bastards!!!!! Thanks -
If in Henderson around Boulder Hiway. watch for a tall skinny tweeker type w/ shoulder length hair, black jacket and ball cap. on a 10 speed bicycle possibly with a blonde girl with High Top Boots on in the area of Terribles Bowling allley and Casino. They took my wifes purse fron the ladys room and took off north. A lady at the bowling alley saw him with the purse over his shoulder. Thanks for keeping a look out!! G.D. Tweekers!!!!! Thanks DDR

My future Son in Law told me to look at the MR2 Turbo. Looks interesting, light and +- 200 HP stock. sure is a "winder" though. 6600 RPM power range. Like driving a Busa! Aren't Suburu's expensive and getting hard to find? Thought about that too. the "hunt' goes on! I do like unique. After all, I raced Fords when everyone else did the Chevy thing. :angry2:

I'll wait for a pix of the trailer, thanks!

Once you have the music downloaded to your computer you can burn a CD by using Windows Media Player if your computer has a CD writer. Pretty simple even for an old guy! In some cases you can even download the music directly to a CD by using SAVE AS and saving to a CD.

Thanks again to all. I have Webber 40MM IDF's on it now. Due to limited funds, since I can't seem to sell the quad, I will be limited to what I do. The tranny is stock and that will need to be upgraded no matter what I do. The case work needed to go "big" is also a $$ problem. I would consider going with a 1776 with a turbo if I could swap someone the carbs out. Would like a single carb like my old 1641 had 20 yrs. ago. I'm also thinking about looking for a light 4 cyl of some other type that I can buy cheap and rebuild myself that will do 150 or so HP. Retirement is great but the limited income now clamps me down! The 2.3 I built was all the HP I needed but it was so damn heavy. I'm in no hurry, at least until prez. day weekend. May even have to do it on the off season. I've only had this one out once and need another trip to really evaluate what this supposed 1835 can do for me. Thanks again!

That is exactally what I needed to know, thanks to all of you. I would love to get 200HP in my rail. Compared to the weight difference for my old 2.3 Turbo ford that had about 240-250 HP with 15#'s of boost I would love to have that and not the weight!!!! thanks again!!

Lots of businesses will no longer give out refunds on tire chains anymore. Guess to many people did what you are thinking about! Doesn't seem right not to give refunds.

Any of you VW motor users know what the approx H,P, is with the different sized motors that are popular. 1915, 2180. 2236 etc.etc. No turbo and a mild build up. Good heads and cam only! thanks

this one from John Ensin: Better! Thank you very much for contacting me about the proposed Omnibus Public Lands bill being considered in the U.S. Senate. I value the opinions of every Nevadan and am always grateful to those who take the time to inform me of their views. The Omnibus Public Lands bill that you mention in your letter is a compilation of lands bills from all over the country. You should know that when it comes to public lands bills in states other than Nevada, I tend to give deference to the Congressional delegation of the relevant state because they should know the needs and desires of their constituency. Sometimes, outside Nevada, legislation is developed without soliciting or taking into account the opinions of all the interested parties, and this often leads to opposition that can make passage of the bill difficult. As other states work on public lands bills, I am hopeful that those delegations can follow Nevada's lead and reach consensus compromises with their diverse constituencies in the same manner we have in our state. While I support increased natural resources protection where it is appropriate and makes sense, I believe lands bills must be balanced between conservation and other multiple uses of federal lands. During my service in Washington, I have worked to set aside millions of acres of land in Nevada specifically for environmental preservation, such as wilderness areas. These lands will be protected for future generations to enjoy. To that end, I have worked with the Nevada congressional delegation over the past seven years to pass into law three comprehensive land bills, including the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act of 1998 (SNPLMA), which is widely recognized as a model for managing federal land in the West.
