Do it Cole. They are a great camera and you cant beat the price! I think I am going to invest in some rechargeable batteries just so I'm not burning through a bunch of them every weekend.

Yeah deffinately leave the audio on low. It's hard to hear us talking but the motors sounded pretty much the same so i thought it turned out well. Next time we go out I think im going to have to make someone else wear the camera so I can lead a ride or two and see what kind of trouble I can get into.

The videos are up! Not all of them yet because youtube sucks and wont let me put up the last three for some reason. They are unedited with no music because of all of youtubes anti copyright infringement B.S. So it is what it is........enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Mather...amp;view=videos

So Saturday started out Great. Got out to Dumont around 10:30/11. Got camp set up and headed out for a ride. Got some good videos from the day which I'm uploading to YouTube right now. Saturday night the wind started gusting up while BBQing dinner. Started to see people pack up and leave. We decided to stick it out and it eventually died down enough to have a couple of drinks and sip on some whiskey by the fire. wind blew off and on all night and blew like crazy all sunday morning. Woke up to a train of people leaving. We decided to eat breakfast and pack up and leave. In all honesty it was probably the worst trip out there in the past three years, But I still had an F'ing blast and wouldnt trade it for anything!!!! Man I love that place! I"ll post up the video link as soon as they're done uploading.

I know pete has a big lense (so I've heard at least), but those do help keep the camera steady on those quick improve shots when you dont have a full-on tripod set up and good to go -
How many more D trips do you guys have planned?

When I was into photography with the old school film SLR's I bought a little tripod. only stands about 6 inches tall and the legs fold into the base. It fits perfectly inside your camera bag and is great to have for quick side of the road shots. Kind of like this; These are pretty cool too cause you can wrap the legs around branches or handlebars etc. just to help keep the camera steady. -
Yeah, it has been an Awesome dune season!!! but I'm looking forward to a little lake time soon. My buddy and I have had a project going since last year and its about time to take it out and see how everything works. will have a little write up and pics after a couple of test runs.

Yeah I was one of those people, I just didnt have the money to drop on it untill now and I didnt want to call Since its been like three months. No worries though, I ended up getting a 2 year warranty with it from pep boys of all places. Thanks for all the info Randizzle. I just got a couple of lithium batteries for now. I went to frys electronics after work and picked up 4 2GB kingston SD cards for $9.99 each.... Fuggin Quote of the week! "pssshhhhyeah, thats cause I'm a level 18 wizard!" 30yr old nerd on his phone at Frys

Ok, so not really..... But I just got a GoPro Motorsport Hero Wide camera today at lunch! I know someone on here posted a video of Glamis taken by one and I had to get my hands on the camera. It holds a 2 Gig SD card and can record for up to an hour till the card fills up. It can be used as a regular camera with 5 megapixels or set to take pictures every 2 or 5 seconds. Also comes in a shock proof case that is water proof up to 100ft. I'm fricken stoked! I cant wait to take it out to Dumont this weekend.
