check this out : V-Rex dragrace T-Rex brakes a axle flange at takeoff :shoot: notice how the rear tires get airborn: i guess Shawn needs to learn that with something around 1200 hp at the crank you need to lift the throttle when the tires are not on the ground
-
now that is comedy in its purest form!! :shoot: :mc_smiley:
-
:shoot: ISBB; your killing me
-
oh yes, that is very possible Ryans engine was build for 25 psi boost and he is only running 10 psi right now in theory a rise of 14psi manifold pressure equals double the HP

Hans??? looks like i got a new name hanging with the Murphy gang was awesome ; big thanks from my bro and me for the good time !!! nothing better then BS-ing around a campfire with great peeps too bad we dont have Dannys "Bo Duke" stunt on video ...it is fun to watch Danny driving like his hair is on fire :wedgie: my personal highlight of the weekend was following Danny home and giving Danny jr. a high-five what a brave and strong young man !!

Big thanks for all who helped me this weekend

Jackpunx sorry ...it sucs when things like that happen we passed you when you was stranded but it looked like you had already plenty of help so we moved on (didnt want to rubberneck...) i hope the damage is not too bad and your up and ripping soon again -
after riding with Ryan this weekend i would like to add this comments: even at low boost Ryans car has at least 2x the power of a regular LT car. the car can reach speeds well over 100mph in a hartbeat (and my hart was pounding fast :wedgie: ) sure, if that engine would be in a lightweight frame it would be even faster....but would i ride in it ??; NO!! safety is very important for me; there is not a single tube or a single steel plate on that car that i would feel that i could do without it. i think Ryans car is closer to a Trophy Truck then a dune buggie....and a TT is usually even heavier some may think the car will get stuck a lot with all that weight . all i can say to that is that i will post some pics here shortly that may change some minds; a guy that was camping next to us broke a rear wheel off of his big LT in the middle of the dunes. Ryan dragged him up and over the dunes and all the way back to camp. just like that no big roost, no heavy throttle, no sweat, no problem .... V-Rex pulls like a frigging JohnDeer on drugs sorry dude, but IMHO you dont qualify as a expert here btw your "EX"-car (you know; the POS that you claim does not work) was with us out there this weekend; it was a blast watching Danny "Crazytrain" Murphy ripping the dunes apart with that car the "permanent grin " on Dannys face after a dune run is what makes building cars so much fun for me IMHO i`m tired of your negative comments; i suggest that you just get over it and move on
-
i really like your cars too; you are daring and not a " monkey see monkey do " like sooooo many others. i think you actually enjoy to be different (i guess just as much as i do ) ....but i would never get one of your cars ; they are not glamis tested :beer_bang: ......J/K!! more about the camera car is here; Radical camera cars
-
Brian your never wrong with black or gunmetal :freakin_nuts: i build one car all dark gunmetal to be used as a movie camera car... i just loved that bad a$$ stealth look cant wait to see your car complete
-
i sure as hell like that angular fighterjet look .... looks great Yoshi ! :freakin_nuts: you got me scared for a second when i did see all them rivets (hint hint ) .... but then i realized its just a clever way to mount the panels without dzus fasteners (i hate them rattling SOB`s) btw are you using regular pop rivets?
-
Ryan got it stuck already (actually i should say I got it stuck; the 80A main fuse popped in the worst spot possible...i have to replace it with a 100A) but after replacing the fuse he just powered out of it first i didnt like the idea to run them huge 39" rear tires but it looks like the traction is just phenomenal Ryans V-Rex and Pauls sister car mark the end of a aera for me; they are the last all steel tube space frame car ....i`m switching to a complete new construction that is mainly aluminum. IMHO it is the only way to loose weight but still keep my high safety standard
-
oh yes ... weight adds up quickly.... that "jacuzzi pump" sized fuel pump with the AN-12! lines alone must be 100lbs .... but if you want to feed a beast you better bring the fuel in buckets seriously ; Porky (but IMHO a car with that HP and speed potential needs a lot of "beef" just to be safe in a crash and/or rollover) im very happy with the front to rear weight distribution (right on target )
-
i was surprised .... but i smell foul play here ...there is at least one guy with insider knowledge moderator; please disqualify him !!!! j/k :beer_bang:
-
its no lightweight thats for sure there is sooooooooooooooooooo much stuff in it i didnt talk with Ryan but i guess 3500lbs
-
"Whoaaaa" is exactly what i was thinking too .....and "fresh underpants "
-
holly s...t amazing Ryan got out of that spot under his own power (after he had power again ) darn 80! amp fuse :chug: ...V-Rex sure needs a lot of juice to run
-
now i see what you are talking about : that video is a classic and still funny as hell...poor Bert
-
sorry for that the coil-carriers have also a valving in it so we had to run the expansion can on them too....together with the big bypass there is just no room to get to the preload ring i guess that short fat fukker is just overstuffed
-
all 4 bypass leaking?!?! ....i dont know whats going on with King lately....
-
thanks Pete !!! that jump on top in the 2nd run is cool it looks like the shocks are still a little soft valved and she is sitting too high the gearing is way too short; you can hear the rev-limiter popping (i guess it would look cool at night when the turbos blow the unburned fuel out the tailpipe )
-
thanks Pete ... but somehow it does not work ....all i get is a frozen pic ...maybe it is my computer
-
i agree! ....and look how that "rollcage" folded how goes that old saying ? : the right tool for the right job ...
-
where the heck is Pete ?!????!??? i know he made a video ...
