I headed out Thursday afternoon, waited til Friday morning unloaded, took the little 80 out and picked up 2 full trash bags. went for a a coupe of dune rides before the rest of camp showed up. Friday was calm and it was actually pretty hot out whenever we stopped On the last ride of the day Paul broke a rim on top of one of the dunes before the flats, we put a front tire on the rear, strapped up the corners and dragged it to the flats where he drove it back. Had a great time, dunes where awesome, too bad couldn't remember how to drive. No seat slider couldn't reach the pedals or the steering wheel. Put 3 coats behind my back and that helped. Those butterflies just kept distracting me.

What a great weekend. Thanks Pete for putting it on. I've been seeing most everybody for the last few years and it was great to finally meet everybody up front. I've been having a overheat problem that I'm trying to get fixed, but made it all weekend. Thanks again and we'll be looking for everybody again.

Was waiting to post to see if a friend was showing , but it's a no go for him, but I'm going to go anyway. Can't wait for a fast run.

Yeah you're right his 10 mil. wasnt the fastest, but his turbo 4 mil. was.

Kind of funny Turbo, I saw a white and pink Banshee smoke that turbo thing over and over.

Anybody have a phone number for the guy that sells Vw (sandrail) parts in the black simi trailer. Over New Years I sent someone down there to get a hi torque starter, but it has no power.I think it's the one for Vw's, not V-8's. Went back the next day but he wasn't around. We had to head back home. Thanks

Great trip, dunes were tore up, but great night riding, not many people were at comp on any night. popped a tire off the bead, but no big deal. Dog is ready for another ride. Going back in two weeks.

We were at the hill Sat night and I can't believe some people are so stupid that they start on the right shoot the hill and then cut accros the top at hi speed (well as fast as a _hitty rear engine can go) then cut down the left in front of all the quads as they ride there wheelies. I watched as they almost hit a few quads a couple different times. Why is it so hard to shoot up the hill turn around then come down. It's smoother on the left anyway. I'm not picking on the rails because I have 2 of them but use some common cense people. You're not cool when you run some kid over!
