  1. Full tilt MSRP with freight, tax, etc. was over $8K. I didn't try to buy one so I don't know what they are willing to do.
  2. Anyone have thoughts on the new KFX450R? Just saw a few today at my local dealer. They looked nice and it felt pretty good size-wise. Electric start. Reverse. How would you compare it against at Yamaha 700 Raptor? More pictures and specs.
  3. Sorry I didn't introduce myself around a bit more. I had the kids solo this weekend, and it was a lot of work. Lots of trips to the "river". Put your hat on. More sunscreen. Eat your chicken! Put your dirty clothes in here, not on the floor. Go to bed.... Glad I'm not a single parent.
  4. I encourage everyone to put their own thoughts down and get them to the appropriate member of the NV state senate/assembly. I am not sure CA residents opinions would count in NV politics. The letter I posted is just one viewpoint. There are many that believe that OHV registration is coming whether the users (vehicle owners) want it or not. If that is the case, we should do everything in our power to make sure that the bill is favorable to us. I am confident the enviros will do everything in their power to favor restoration, enforcement and closure. The line of thinking for the letter that was posted is the bill would be most acceptable if left alone as submitted. If you think it can't happen in Nevada, think again. Change is coming, and it won't be a good change unless off-roaders are heard. That is my two cents.
  5. Just passing this info on. I didn't write it, but if you care about OHV registration in Nevada, make sure your voice is heard!
  6. I've already posted a few pictures from the weekend, but here is a link to the rest: DuneGuide.com - Dumont Cleanup Weekend Thanks again to Pete & Terry for letting me crash their camp. Great to meet lots of DDR folks.
  7. Proposed OHV Bill introduced in Legislature More info from Gary Clinard.....
  8. Does anyone know how hot it got on Saturday?
  9. I think Big 5 goes best with a Subaru.
  10. Here are a few versions... People kept showing up as we were getting ready to take the picture, so it was hard to get everyone "in".
  11. DDR rocks the cleanup. Great job to all!
  12. Me too. Won't be there until Thursday though (10 hour drive for me). See you tomorrow Pete. :jester:
  13. Let's just hope that Honda/Suzuki/Kawasaki come out with something worthwhile too.
  14. Although the RZR is shorter, it actually has a longer wheelbase by almost two inches. :mc_smiley: Polaris Ranger RZR
  15. We'll try to make it. Depends on how "fried" the kids are after the HOT cleanup.....
  16. Looking very hot for the weekend. Figured that the kids and I would wander up Sperry Wash in the Rhino and I'd let them play in the "river". Just wondering if there is much/any water???
  17. The factory trailer brake controller on the Superduty is awesome, and is probably compensating for being set at 10. A light touch on the brake only sends back a small part of 10. If it feels like your truck is being slowed down by the trailer, the number is too high.
  18. 10 seems high. I run anywhere from 2.0 to 3.5 depending on how heavy the load is.
  19. Me and the kids will be there Thursday. It's going to be HOT. Is the creek flowing?
  20. We should be rolling in on Thursday. Hope to make a Rhino run up Sperry Wash on Friday with a bit of geocaching. We will be at the cleanup on Saturday. Me and my kids & the camo Rhino:
