  1. without the help I couldnt do it. Some of this stuff is 3-4 man jobs.Even just putting my uniballs back in I needed someone to hold the arm while I beat the crap out of it.
  2. Got the front and rear hubs all greased and installed. crappy cell phone pics as Pete the photo guy left already and I forgot my camera.I will get some better ones
  3. Yeah thanks to Pete Nick and my friend Justin. Jim came by later as well. Its a b*tch to get this thing together with the powder coat. I think the hard part is done though.
  4. Thanks everyone. Im definately still in shock that I own a car of this caliber. Never in a million years did I think I would own something like this. Pete as well as others always told me that good things come to those who wait.
  5. Well first I have to give thanks for Larry at V&L talking to me and asking all the important questions to make sure I would be happy with my car and its looks.I was all set to take it to him when Brian and Travis from the Custom Shop told me to check out another shop in Vegas that does high end work.Larrys pricing was good,I just didnt want to drive there this coming weekend and go pick it up next weekend.....that looses 2 weeks. So Larry.....When I do meet you which I make it a point to do someday the personal thank you is coming I dropped all my parts off at State of The Art here is Vegas monday at about 1:30pm.This morning I went and took pics he called me at 10:30am today to come look at one more color sample before he shot the panels. So I show up about 11:45 with the chassis sitting outside done in the sun All the suspension had just come out of the oven and was cooling down so they could clear them. The new color was actually better than the one I was going to do.So I tell him to go ahead with that color and he told me to be there at 5pm to pick it up.They were planning on tomorrow but they ran out of work earlier than anticipated.State of The Art hooked it up with a 2 day turn around and quality that is far more than I expected. As of now I have 49 days to get it done for the SCU regatta. So I got it home and all unwrapped. Its back on the lift and going to be full throttle on it starting tomorrow night. here are a couple pics and Pete will post more

  10. Thats why the rvq is so cool....it never leaves the hauler and I have 15 gallons of propane for it.
  11. Get a RVQ and mount it to your hauler like on my trailer.
  12. the chassis will be satin black. The panels a metallic charcoal or silver and the suspension will be silver vein.
  13. yeah it wasnt too bad. Justin and I knocked it out.We left there about 8:30 I have to go up there today before Davids party and get everything cleaned up and arranged. I forgot my camera up there also.I took alot of pics so I will get some posted up.
  14. nope because after powder I am going to ream all the holes.
  15. It finished coming apart faster than I thought. I will be dropping it off at powder monday. so far with my build if there is anything I can say about an SCU is there is definately NO SLOP in any of the components. It was a royal pain to get some bolts out and its not like they are bound up they just fit that tight but everything swings/pivots like butter. SCU build quality is second to none witch I already knew thats why I went with them.
  16. intercooler, air filter/inlet and coolant pipes all mocked up time to strip it and get it to powder
  17. Just so everyone else knows Mikes GPS looked like a bunch of squiggly lines and we were trying to find the we came in because it was flat and we were towing a car with no front suspension.Mike could get us back to camp but couldnt find the way we came in.
