Oil and tranny change on a 06 Dmax
sanddunesaddict replied to mineurbiz's topic in Toyhauler/ RV Talk
You have to remember Cheese some people do not want to spend the time getting the parts, doing it themselves and making a mess in their driveway and then having to clean up and go get rid of the oil....How much is your time and hassle worth. -
Oil and tranny change on a 06 Dmax

Didnt work for me either. The new oil thing is true.We dont stock both either. You have to run a new low emission oil in the truck with DPF's and its good for older trucks so we only have the one. It is still a Chevron Delo product. -
Oil and tranny change on a 06 Dmax

After talking to both Mark and Mike they are both overdue for maintenance. The trans spin on filter is recommended every 5-8 thousand miles and the internal filter every 50-60k. -
Yep Melanie just turned 7 months!! Where does the time go.

You can buy them online or a couple of shops here in town have them. They are about 1k out of the box and the spending goes through the roof from there.

I dont remember which video had which setting but I changed the clutch adjustment, installed a different flywheel and changed gearing twice. The dusk video was the last on of the day after all the changes and was running the best although the last video I posted the car was running very well.

Lets get this back on track. I pulled in Wednesday night and must say the road was AWESOME!! I give it an A. Thursday was low key just hanging out getting ready for T-day dinner. Went and help Rob(80Grit) with his cv's and came back for some awesome dinner. The rest of the weekend was a good time.I guess I shouldnt wear the AM/PM recovery service hat anymore in the dunes....I pulled more people this weekend than I duned I think but its always a pleasure to do it. Thanks to Sand~~Snake for letting me drive his car and CaptNkllm for also letting me take his for a spin. Got my sister in a long travel along with a couple of friends of mine and they couldnt believe the ride of them. A very fun weekend that just like always was too short!!!
