I do not know who told you that you cant flush an Allison trans but they are full of it. Richard cheese is right about the Transynd.It it very good fluid but isnt needed unless you tow extremley heavy sh*t or want extended drain intervals. I dont recommend the extended drain intervals on a 1000 series(Duramax) because it doesnt hold that much. I can do a complete trans flush with both filters with only 22-28 quarts and thats good for 30-60k depending on towing duties. On a medium duty which is another story altogether it takes 6-7 gallons just to do a drain and fill so the Transynd is worth it because it take alot more fluid. Yeah it wont matter beause they stopped replacing the cooling units under the recall. All they will do is put the stpid a$$ shield in.

So much for the recall doing a damn thing. I go out to do my bi-weekly trailer check up(run genny,waterpump and a/c's) and decided to check the fridge because it stays plugged in and on. Its off and stinks due to the water in the freezer which was ice. I pull the panel outside and see all the yellow sh*t under the burner. I got online and low and behold this is what the recall was for if it happened at the time of shield installment. This really sucks. The fridge is basically junk now. To top it off I have a trip planned in a month!!! Dometic

I have a picture hanging in my living room that Ansel Adams took in 1948. I've tried to find out who named it myself tons of times with no luck. One of these days I will get the pics scanned from my dads trips in the early 70's I think he started going in the late 60's when he was a teenager.

Geo/Chevy Tracker,Suzuki Sidekick and Pontiac Sunruner are all the same.Suzuki X-90's use the same stuff as these also. Its a toss up on which to get.Look at Duelordie's sammy or ISBB's they are awesome but have some money into them. My Tracker already has the better engine,A/C now!! and better fuel economy,I only have about 3k invested. Its a wash on all of them...just depends on how cheap you can get one and the shape it is in.

I am trying to figure out how these people know about recalls before they are even listed on our service information site at work???? I saw this on GD yesterday and when online at work to see what the recall said and its not even out yet. We have shipped 2 SS's though.

Its actually not that big of and engine. Its an all aluminum Buick 215 V8 which came out of a Land Rover(since they use them now) with a 6-71 blower. If I remember right he told me it was 450HP. Thats so cool seeing it out there though.
