AAPL supports CORVA in distributing this important Action Alert to save our hard earned Green Sticker money that is so desperately needed for trail work and mitigation efforts. Given California's financial crisis, it may be years before we see these funds replaced, if ever! Action Alert!!!! Part of the Governor’s latest budget proposal is a $90M loan from the OHV Trust Fund to help balance the state budget! Although we understand that the state is in the grip of the worst budget crisis in history, this loan is not a solution to the problem! Why? The law requires that this loan must be repaid within 2 years, so all this does is delay a real solution to the budget problem. Similar tactics have been tried in the past. In recent years the state budget was often balanced by borrowing billions from constitutionally protected trust funds reserved for highway construction and repair of local streets and roads. Local governments united to oppose this borrowing gimmick and the governor and legislature agreed to stay away from borrowing from local government trust funds this year. Unfortunately this commitment does not extend to our OHV Trust Fund. The governor is proposing an urgency bill that would authorize this loan. This money is our green sticker money that comes directly from the increased cost of green stickers from $25 to $50. This funding was supposed to go to law enforcement and other essential public safety services as well as improving the program. The public agreed to this fee increase to better fund the program, not to bail out the state budget. What can you do? It is urgent that OHV users get in touch with their state legislators as soon as possible. Write or fax a letter to YOUR state senator and state assemblymember. Tell them to stop borrowing to balance the budget. Tell them the OHV Trust Fund should not be used to balance the budget Loans like this are just gimmicks and not a solution to the real problem. We were willing to raise our fees to be able to keep our program operating, we should not become the scapegoats in this budget battle. During the last election many legislators signed a promise that they would not use borrowing to balance the budget. Ask your legislators if they signed a "no borrowing pledge", and ask them if they are going to stand by that promise. Specific points to make are: 1. Members of the public agreed to a fee increase to support a specific program, but now the revenue generated is being diverted from its intended purpose - a breach of public trust. 2. Borrowing from state funds that must be repaid does not solve the budget problem, it only defers dealing with the problem to a later date when it will be even more difficult to solve. 3. Using a trust fund as a revenue source sets a bad precedent. Trust funds are established up to protect public funds for specific purposes. This could lead to diversion of funds from other trust funds in the future potentially including even entitlement funds. 4. The budget crisis must be resolved through a combination of spending cuts and tax increases, not more borrowing. FAX or email your letter today!!! I work for the state and worked at that park(The people you pay in the uniforms, that was me) i used to do that there and the park is great. Alot of fun and really amazing on what beauty is back there after leaving the hectic city. ALot of people used to come for the MASH site and the creek and the rocks where you can jump off and swim in the summer. They also have camping there for 20 dollars a night and you may get lucky and catch fish there once in a while, that and a beer can..lol

If all else fails and you have to do the BIT inspections i can get yo some answers on what it consists of and the cost, maybe even a discount if you go to my wifes work and get it done. She takes care of the bit inspections for big diesel company's. Just a thought -

Stop spraying it with NOS and either keep it a drag bike and spray or a duner and ride, you cant have the best of both worlds and think she is going to run fine when you want to ride thru the dunes with no juice..

HE will start serving today the 15 years and he has a mandatory 3 years so a total of 9 until he can get paroled and i doubt they will parole him after the 6 on that charge and he could do up to the 15. That is besides all the other charges he has against him . Can anyone break down the way it works. Do they make him serve the 15 and then when he is eligible for parole they will either say yes or no then after that he will be judged on the other charges and the judge will decide how many years he will do on them?

No problem, go to Pier 39 at Fishermans Wharf and go to the Yellow ticket booth called Blue & gold Fleet cruises and they have alot of diffrent attractions. They have the bay cruise(the one we took), thay have a fast speed boat cruise which is cool but expensive. The thing to notice to make sure you are in the right place is look for the Aquarium Of The Bay and the ticket both is on your left side. If you dont want to drive From Market ST take the F train which is an updated trolly on tracks and it costs 1.50$ and lasts all day and it will drop you off at pier 39 and you can take that back to the hotel. Very cool ride and beats the traffic and the cost of the parking at pier 39.

Thanks for all the comments guy's and she did like it alot and so did the kids. I dont mind that city stuff with bums and all but they were a little agressive but what can you do. Alcatraz is amazing and need to go there in the evening and check it out and the city itself has so much history i couldent believe it. I stayed in a hotel that was built in 1906 and it was a very nice hotel on market street. I did not catch the BMX show which i was pissed at since my boy and daughter wanted to see it. We did get to see the dude called the SF bushman" . He made a fake type bush that he stands behind and scares people that are walking down the sidewalk. I could watch for hours and see these people crap there pants, guy makes good money but honestly it's the best set up i seen out there and give him credit...here is a video of him
