I dont like the ford interior and i cant afford the new 08's or 07's . I have had a work truck ford for the state and it's plain to me in the inside. I like the dodge's inside alot but i have had a 15 hundred since 2002 and it's a great truck with no problems but the damm heater and A/c going out occcasionally which is a b*tch. the Chevy inside and out just seem to be alot more nicer and i like the new design of the 05 and up, not the 08's,. I am waiting for pics of the grey chevy and hope it' nice which im sure it is, I think price will make a big diffrence for me on this one, like you guy's said they ALl well get the job done... AND SERIOUSLY THE PROBLEM'S YOU GUY'S HAVE BROUGHT UP WITH THE FORD HAVE SCARED ME AWAY FOR EVER..

i UNDERSTAND YOUR POINTS, BUT IF I WANTED THE SMOOTHEST RIDE I WOULDENT EVEN BUY A TRUCK. i WILL TAKE THE LOOK OVER A LITTLE BUMPY RIDE, IF THE LIFT IS FACTORY INSTALLED BY A CHEVY DEALER THEN I WOULD TAKE THAT RISK. i WORK FOR PARKS AND REC'S AND THEY DRIVE DODGES, THEY DONT TAKE CARE OF THOSE TRUCKS ANYWAYS SO THAT'S WHY HE IS PROBALLEY HAVING PROBLEMS AND THE STATE DONT WANT TO PAY TO FIX A HEAD LIGHT SO THEY DONT GET THE BEST SERVICE. i AM CONCERNED THOUGH OF NOT BE ABLE TO SMACK MY KIDS.. i ONLY PULL A 21 FT HAULER WITH A FEW BIKES SO I DONT THINK A LIFTED TRUCK WELL BE AL THAT UNUSABLE FOR ME. ESPECIALLY WITH A DEIESEL, BUT I COULD BE WRONG.

Should i try to tighten the bars as much as possible? I can get 4 chain links down when setting them up but maybe i should just put it on the 3rd link, just thought the tighte rthe better on the bars.

ALso the factory has installed the lift so it is done right and backed for a lifetime, now what about the miles...?

UPDATE.......... BLUE CHEVY SOLD BUT HE HAS ANOTHER ONE IN THAT IS DARK GREY AND IS THE LTZ PACKAGE, HAS MOR BELLS AND WHITSLES THEN THE LT MODEL(BLUE) AND THE GEY ONE IS FULLY LOADED. IT HAS 58K MILES ON IT AND HAS THE TRIPLE SHOCK UP FRONT AND ONLY COST 28K FOR THIS TRUCK, PICS TO COME... SHOULD I WORRY ABOUT THE MILES? DMAX W/ A ALLISON TRANSMISSION.

MAn guy's this is hard one, like you guy's said they both have there advantages . I do have kids and that room would be nice. I will deff. get a lift later on with the dodge and i know they look sick with it. I dont know if the lift is from the dealership or if it was on the Chevy when they traded it in and i have had alot of problems with lifts and the drive especially not knowing if they did it right. I think the dodge will end up a few thousand dollars more due to tax and license so it should be like 2k more making it about 34-35k out the door to where the Chevy may end up at 32k or 33k out the door. I will call the chevy dealer and see what is up with this truck and let you guy's know. thanks for all the replies and the FORD is out of the question..

SELL IT...JK Pipe, intake, paddles(6 paddles or Brats), run a smaller sprocket like a 13 and she will run alot better. if you ditch the heel guards, lights and all the plastic under the seat that will get her lightned up a little, just some stuff you can do for free. the intake and the pipe are going to cost money..

you are exactly right, i would pay 50 for this fee but it's up the the state to give it to where it counts and put it to good use, they see the money and go use it somewhere else, unless the state stands behind the BLM then they will always be searching for pennies, RIDICOLOUS!!!!!!!!

Do you guy's think that the way they spent the money is right and that those cost's are legit, anyone can punch in numbers so it doesent mean that they are honest about it. They can do alot more with the money then they do guy's, even if i dont attend meetings doesent mean they are doing there best with it, thanks for the 10 bathrooms and the EMT's on holiday weekend's so please explain where the rest of the money goes.. Im sure they will pay for it with more taxes but the idea is to use the money that is allocated for these charges and stop spending it on something else like they always do.. Im sure theere is more then enough dough to make us and the truu huggers happy, it's just the money is re-directed for some other project and then they cant use it on what's needed(off roading)DUH!!!!
