i AM UP FOR A dOVE SPRINGS TRIP, MAYBE I WILL START A THREAD ONCE I KNOW I HAVE A BIKE TO RIDE..Lol WHAT DATES ARE YOU GUYS GOING?

2 Weeks befoe christmas my studio closes so i will be riding...LEt us know..

I have a girl and a boy w/ a third on the way and the boy is crazy, doesent know pain and his sister is so sweet and gentle and he's a big gorilla like his dad..lol took him to the ER last weeek when he cracked his head on a chair, running around the hospital still w/ a shiner on his head... My daughter likes to ride also and she has a suzuki 50 and learned to ride at 3 years old, he is going to be 2 in november and can already ride the 50 around the truck at dumont so he is getting a quad next monnth for his b-day. i know some say he aint old enough but he wont get off the damm thing all day, he just sits on his sisters and makes that vroom vroom sound... i know something can hurt him like a skateboard he wants all the time, i still skate time to time and he tries to get on and take off...He is a boy 100% and love the fact that he will enjoy the outdoor's and sports but have to worry on him being so CRAZY......

IN&OUT VENDORS IS WHAT WE NEED, IM TIRED OF SERVING SANDWICHES AT THE HILL ALL DAY... LITTLE MORE SNACKS AND FOOD CHOICES..

Gorman is around the corner from me, been there so many times i just go know for a quick loop then get home, be carefull on the roads for people coming the other way, that place is notorious for slamming into people head on on the fire roads.. We should do a Dove springs trip soon here, i ride it all ,sand and desert and dove in the winter is real nice, i know some cool spots out there... Let me know..Sam.

bEEN GOING OUT THERE FOR YEARS NOW, (DOVE SPRINGS) GREAT DESERT RIDING AND TRAILS GALORE, HILL CLIMBS, NICE LITTLE JUMPS..SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE.. CAN GET TO ALL THOSE PLACES FROM DOVE SPRINGS BUT I LIKE THE CAMPING SET UP A DOVE, I LIKE TO PARK IN FRONT OF THE HILLL CLIMBS... MAYBE I CAN JOIN YOU IF I ET A NEW BIKE THIS WEEK, OTHER THEN THAT MAKE SURE TO TAKE A RIDE TO THE JAWBONE STORE AND HAVE A STEAK SANDWICH, YOULL SEE A MAIN ROAD IF YOU CAMP IN DOVE SPRINGS THAT CLIMBS A MOUNTIAN AND THEN FLATENS OUT AND IF YOU FOLLOW THAT IT WILL TAKE YOU TO RED ROCK AND JAWBONE THEN GET YOU NEAR THE STORE... HERE ARE SOME PICS.. thought i had more but they have hill climbs on every hill from crazy to easy, i love that place..

I love tha place and all but DAMM 8 days, i can only do 4 then it's time for some IN&OUT....Have a goood trip..

Just wanted to start a positive thread since all end in someone complaining about something or how the little'st things bother people and end up in a bashing . Fee's,Road.s,Rules,Wind.. I for one couldent make it because i got a Job for the State Parks to become a Ranger and have to work the next year and a half on weekends and work a full time job. ALso my Mom is in the hospital and my son spent all night throwing up but i still was able to gear up a smile today at work. I just feel that here and other places that the negative is always the topic to talk about... LET TALK ABOUT THE GOOD THINGS THAT HAPPEND THIS WEEKEND,MAYBE WE CAN GET 2 PAGES OF WHAT MADE YOU SMILE THIS WEEKEND .. I never do this stuff so call me a dork,,Let's lighhten this place up..

Can someone tell me why a diesel is better then a v10, seems you are going thru the same problems with a diesel then i would with a v10, mileage,power, length of drive before i have to fill up again, and one of the problems i had with my 1500 was when the wind kicked up it would drink like a SOB.. IN the market for a dieasel so just asking, please dont turn this into a Big Arss thread, i know you guy's can tell why they are better? Sorry to get off topic

I have never been there or left without giving my fee but what do you do when there is no one there? Please explain and that may help us understand what to do. I have always left my fee at boxes that stated for you to leave a courtious pay fee but i dont belive thay have that set up at Dumont.. I really dont see a problem with not paying if there is no one there to collect, how am i being unlawfull if there is no way to pay? I have too see this group of people who actuelly go looking for someone to pay after 2-3 days of riding at Dumont when they are trying to leave and no ranger on duty, maybe cuz that group dont exist. That same group of law biting citizens im sure coughs up the $20 when the ranger's are there.

If there aint no ranger, or ticket machine then we dont, and i dont think we need to be harassed if we dont have one when we leave and want to buy one. ANd honestly if there aint no one there when i leave i aint gonna pay it either...JMO

I had a few visitors last year and they suprised me for sure showing up in a caravan, No CANdy which i felt bad but they took a K&N outerwear and a cup of Sunoco 112 that i had laying around, they wre happy little dune rats.. To each is own on the decorating, i think it will look nice...

And usuelly when they say wind there is wind..Go figure...
