  1. Here you are sand bro: http://www.miltonsandtoys.com/carriers.html
  2. At one time Gameworks was a cool place. The games were teriffic, and the upstairs bar excellent. Then one visit, the kids all said the games suck, and we've never gone back. We were however, watching the bartender stuff her tip jar with half the cash transactions over a three hour period. Easily stuffed $600 in the jar + her legit tips. Lousy games, and the bartender ripping the place off out in the open was a tell it's going downhill. Other than that, no reason left to visit there except when we got married at the Strat. And that is the only reason to visit the Strat. Wow does that place ever suck.
  3. I'm no longer a local and I still avoid the strip.

  5. We just re-fi'd at 4.3% fixed for 15 years. Our current mortgage was 7% fixed with 23 years left on it. Payment the same, but the house will be paid off almost 9 years sooner, and we'll save about $100 G's. I just want the house paid off for my much younger wife after I die.
  6. 15th through the 20th here, and leaving right now for a few days too. The new Raptors are nice.
  7. Some of the other hosting sights arent so fussy. You Tube has an automatic program that will kick out copyrighted stuff now. The band didn't gripe. Try Photobucket.
  8. If you're going to run bright lights like we did, the little motorcycle battery can barely keep up. Side by side sells an Alternator and Optima kit. Also, change the stock airfilter, get the K&N stock # PL-8007. The K&N comes with the outerwear and a tube of grease. Use the stock airfilter clamp too, and tighten it so that it's hard to get the K&N on the air inlet flange. Also generously grease the flange and the airbox lid seal. Clean it all after each trip, re-grease, re-install smartly and tightly. Keep the old airfilter so they can't blame the engine sickies on something you did. Get the extended warranty too: We love our rzr and we'll buy a S like yours, but their are still a few teething pains that can be easily dodged. Don't mean to look like Im pissing on your parade, but this is a serious issue, hope to save you some grief.
  9. The new YFZ 450's are dieing on the showroom floors with the bad economy. Look to see Yami soon offering good financing and the dealers reducing the price. Nice units. Heres' is a very good deal. Rich will take a much softer offer easily: http://www.riverdavesplace.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4291 Banshees are destined to go the way of bellbottoms and the betamax.
  10. I ain't kidding. Get a load of this:
  11. Looks like an excellent time. We got married in the chapel at the top. Awsum views.
  12. The cool racks ya see in the back of pick-ups that extend over the cab people haul sand rails with. We'd like to find one we can haul the Rzr with. Thanks.
  13. The stock air filter is marginal at best. We installed the K&N w/outerwear with the stock clamp to keep it a super snug fit and it's a huge difference. Also grease the flange, and grease the lid seal. Clean the air filter & check the engine compression after every trip Considering a snorkel or pre-filter at the inlet too.
  14. The three pass front seat is excellent!!! They haul azz in the dunes. Video of our Rzr in Glamis this week. Bone stock 'cept paddles and buffs:
  15. Just left our local Yamaha dealer. They have 4 new YFZ 450 FI's and said they haven't sold anything, no lookers,, nothing. We were in Glamis this week. Silll packed, but noticably fewer than in years gone by. Still as many thieves & trench diggers roaming as ever.
  16. Here's my son driving our bone stock rzr, except paddles at Glamis this week. My camera has no viewfinder, nor image stabilization so the video quality isn't the best: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qNKXbqWwUg...re=channel_page (Click on the high quality picture right hand corner of screen) Incredably smooth ride, plenty of pep. We like it so much, we're looking at the new Rzr S long travel model. Very capable duner at a bargain price IMHO.
  17. Looking back at 2008: I got the Rzr all finished at it's beyond what we expected. A hell of a machine. Worth every dime. We got a good deal, and so far the headache aftermarket issues are resolved and behind us. The Corvette Z06 is beyond my wildest expectations for performance and fun to drive. Had no idea everywhere we would go people want to stop and talk about it. The last time I looked at NEW Corvettes was the last year the 427 was available and regretted not buying one. Well, this new 427 makes up for it. We spent over $14.000 in Vet bills on the wifes cat. Yep, that's thousands, and I don't regret it. The Vet was ready to get our OK to off him he was so sick, but I asked her if their is a way to get 5 more years out of him,, and the journey to save him began. Meiko is a legend in this neighborhood, a member of the family, and a hell of a cat. Our son survived a massive brutal spell with Lymphatic Cancer. I can't tell you how agonizing that was. We finished a 2 year 7 month battle with it. I hope none of you ever have to go through this. If you do, you can count on us to help in any way we can. Starting to customize a new Fuel Injected Teryx for and with my son that survived cancer. Letting him pick out the options and do the work while he continues his recovery. 2008 has been a good year for us. Perservance is the word for 2008.
  18. Crude will be $35 a bbl by this time next month. Closed at $40 today. Should lower gas and diesel buy at least 15 cents a gal. at the pump in Feb. Refinery strike may throw a wrench into that. Strong talk of that happening. Not good.
  19. The cage looks excellent. The ride is supurb, and the tire set-up is perfect. I run 6 PSI.
  20. To our family, the Dune season is just starting with 3 and a half months to go. It seems better this year. Gas prices have finally came back down, we're at least 1/3 through the recession, and the industry doesn't seem to have been hit that hard,, yet. Moving Vendors Row has murdered us and our long time Duning friends,, and yeah more people at Dumont now. But it's all going to be ok, and has not really been all that bad either.
  21. I thought this thread said five different dune fights:
  22. Yep. Either the Barstow idea that is still being kicked around that is dieing fast, or we'll be at Dumont camped at Check Point Panic.
  23. All I know about AMPS is Polaris SxS electrical systems don't put out enough of them. I mounted a separate mega alternator on the Rzr. All is well now. The round HID's are at Kragan/Checker ect ect this week for $99 ea, and some have red or blue rings too. 7" $99 4" $95
