Maybe Billsinca is talking about the age on the quad. If you bring a 50cc that says "no one under 6", can a 5 year old still take the course and be certified?

This is a great opportunity. Did this last year at dumont. Usually you have to buy a new quad to get a free pass from your dealer. Dumont SBCSD are great guys and make the kids feel confident with their riding abilitys. Recomend this to anyone with kids. My daughter had to show her certificate to ride at Azusa canyon a few weeks ago

That was my girl. I'm very proud of her and she had a great time. We rode back to camp and I let out the throttle screw for her Anyways, big thumbs up for the Instructer and all the SBC Sheriffs out at Dumont. I talked to most of them and they were all very informitive and great people to BS with. They said they will offer the course on President's day again. I'd highly recommend any children to attend -

the rule is 15 mph within 50' of a camp. 50' is not that much of a distance. In beetween the finger dunes is probably 300' so theoretically someone can just blast down the middle and probably get away with it. Not much LEO's can do in my opinion. By the way, I just putt through the flats, but this is my observations. -

This is perfect. I'll bring my daughter. Do we have to pre-register or just show up? -
I'm in the same boat, only with the 7.3l. When I get some extra dough I'll go with 4.30. My reason, tire calculater say's 4.23 (I really don't remember the exact number) so my theory is this; It is equal cost to change to a 4.11 or 4.30. In my opinion a 4.11 will not make much difference so I would go with the 4.30. 4.88 is bad advice because you will get terrible millaege and lose top speed. They are great for towing but if this is a daily driver its a bad idea. FYI I had a f-550 with 4.88's and the best I ever got (empty or loaded) was 315 mi on a 38 gallon tank
