if you guys met a little earlier, id show up for a couple. I work close to there, be nice to go right from work instead of going all the way home. Not that I live on the west side, but far enough when gas is as high as it it. Filling the burb is KILLING ME!!

Id be down for that. Might wanna check about the campfire thing though. I know when it gets to far in the summer, I believe they prohibit camp fires cause of the dry conditions.

Yeah I heard about this. I actually saw a police escorted ambulance heading down the 95 this morning on my way to work. not sure if it was related, but not very often do you see 2 bike cops flying down the freeway escorting an ambulance, with 2 more bike cops behind it. PEOPLE ARE CRAZY!! :ahhhhh: Never a dull moment in this town! Or anywhere in the world these days!

Wow, what a fabulous weekend it turned out to be. Didnt start off so good My trip started with my fridge not working and few other mishaps, didnt think I was going to make it. My brother helped me hook up my trailer and decided to plug in my trailer lights UPSIDE DOWN!!! dont ask me how he managed that. All I know is I was driving down the street when I realized I had no trailer brakes, or lights. I attempted to turn my lights on, and it slammed on my trailer brakes. INTERESTING. Here I am freaking out thinking, :ahhhhh: WTF!! Was also getting an error message on my brake controller. I called camping world where I got the brake controller installed, they gave me a repair guys number. I called, said he could help me. Get to jackies only to find out its plugged in upside down. NICE Jackie went and bought a new cooler (even though I have 5 at home) for me to use to put my food in. Finally fridge cooled down the next day, LUCKILY. 4 days in a cooler wouldnt of worked to well for my food me thinks!! Finally get on the road bout 7, good times driving down there!! I was in the lead almost the whole way!! Weather couldnt of been better. Nice relaxed weekend! Got some good rides in. Only a little drinking, unusual for me!! But with taking antibiotics for the leg, didnt wanna push down the drinks to much. Lots of interesting chat around the fire :ahhhhh: :ahhhhh: They had me laughing so hard at one point I was crying. Good times with great friends!! Great to hang with jill & charlie. And caleb & his crew. Nice to meet raptor roy. And Jay, always good times! Cant wait to see pics that caleb took. Hopefully the ones of me peaking out my door as the little green men were trying to turn off my flashy light!! lol lol Cant wait for the dune season to start!!! no map is needed. the meadow where we will be is very small. you wont be able to miss us. just look for all the DDR stickers on vehicles and toyhaulers!! or you could look for my CROOKED "GOT SAND" on the back of my hauler. im sure ill be the only one with that. Thats how I roll

Im crying here after reading that!! Definately gave me goose bumps. I applaude our troops for risking their lives for all of us to continue to live life as we know it. I also applaude their families and friends who are left behind to go on with life while they risk their lives. I dont agree with the war, but I will always support our troops!!!! I got the bandaids with the antibiotics right on them. Dr told me to change bandaid 3 times a day, and always keep one on. yeah, they said peroxide keeps the wound from healing.
