actually the antibiotics shot in the butt hurt more at the time. but a couple days later, my arm was alot more sore than my butt. the leg isnt looking much better. its very obvious there is infection now. and the bruising is still very bad more than a week later. :dance: Im avoiding all pipes from now on!

I CANT DRINK??? crap thats right, not supposed to drink when your on antibiotics huh??? mutha bitchezzzz!! gives me a week to get them all done before I go to coral. then ill be getting my drink on. the xray tech thought it would be funny to tell me, wow, yup, its broke. messed up

Ok peeps!! took everyones advise went to quick care today. after a 3 hour freakin wait, SUCKED, no broken bones, however, my leg is infected. fun times. they gave me a tetnus shot in the arm, and a freakin antibiotic shot in the a$$. DID I MENTION, I HATE NEEDLES!! also sent me home with a prescrip of antibiotics im supposed to take 4 times a day. supposed to rest, keep ice on my ankle and keep it elevated for the swelling. Man, who knew a freakin goose egg could lead to so much bruising, swelling and infection. dr said he is surprised nothing is broke with as much bruising as I have. I lucked out I guess. Thanks everyone for suggesting I go. Glad I did. No prostetic for me!!

Its good to know its a plastic pipe, now I dont really gotta be worried bout getting a tentus or blood poisoning hopefully. and it is actually a gash, not a dent. I did keep it on ice most of the evening it happened, and the swelling went down tremendously. just concerns me now that my ankle is so swollen and bruised. guess that could be from me walkin on it instead of keeping it elevated?? oh well, ill live in sure. might take off work early today and stop by the quick care for 4 hours. :ahhhhh:

yeah it did put a small gash in my leg. hopefully its not infected. I really dont want a tetnus shot. those hurt from what ive been told. lol no it wasnt one of your kids. it wasnt the kids fault anyways, he was just being a kid playing with water balloons. I wasnt watching where I was running. I probably will go get it checked out now that everyone is freaking me out.

thats what I was tellin my friend at work earlier. lol its twice the size of my other ANKLE. I hate to go sit in the freakin quick care for HOURS, just for them to say, sorry nothing we can do.

A few people have asked about the leg, so I thouht Id post up a few pics. In case you dont know the story, at Kens grand opening party I injured myself! I was running from a kid with a water balloon, turned to look at the kid and ran into a big drainage pipe sticking outta the wall. Smacked my shin BIG TIME. It was the size of a baseball almost immediately. Just a goose egg. Also has a pretty decent gash. Anyways, I put ice on it right away and the swelling almost went away. Now a few days later, my leg is black and blue almost all the way around my calf, down my leg, all the way around my ankle (which is really swollen) and bruised all the way down my foot underneath my ankle. Its a little tender, but I can walk no problem. Has me a little concerned with as much bruising as there is, as well as my ankle being so swollen. So now im wondering, should I have gone to a DR?? not really alot they can do with a goose egg on my shin, right ?? when did they change this? I know I bought 2 quads brand new in 2004 and have titles for both. Then bought a used in end of 2004 that also had a title.

Man that was a great video. thanks for sharing. I had a friend that went to dunefest a couple years ago. It would actually be cheaper to tow your stuff up on a flatbed then rent a room the way gas prices are right now. Thats what he did a couple years ago, and it was cheaper then! Id be down for a trip up there!! if I could get a week off work. lol

Wow, just outta the hospital and back on a quad. Glad to hear they are both going to be just fine. Always hard to hear someone has a crash bad enough to end up in the hospital. Glad you had a great time at coral. I cant wait for memorial day, ILL BE RIDING CAREFULLY!!

My leg is definately pretty messed up, glad there was no photos of that. lol doesnt look like a softball is in my shin anymore however. so thats a plus. ended up at a bar down on blue diamond, bartender gave me a big bag of ice!!! we then proceeded to go adult club hopping. lol lol left dan & woody at one bout 2 this morning. Interesting evening for sure thanks for all the good times with the ddr family!!! thanks dave and jackie for my pizzaz, cant wait to use it at coral!!!! You guys rock!!!
