I wasnt handed anything when I came in thanksgiving weekend. But I also already had my annual pass and flashed it at the guys and they waived me thru. Maybe it was being handed out to people who still had to pay for the pass.

COME ON!!! I was at COMP every night, how do I never leave camp. Be around more and you would know these things!!! In all honesty, I did hang around camp chillin alot this trip. Nothing wrong with those kinda trips when they are so many Aholes in the dunes on a busy weekend. Dunes were to rutted up, wasnt enjoyable to ride!

Thats a great Idea steve. And actually, like Nick said. The ICE thing in your cell phone is actually recommended by paramedics. I saw a news story about it a while ago. When something happens paramedics will actually look in a cell phone for ICE. Pretty nifty idea I think. Hopefully nothing ever happens, but its always good to be prepared. Ill be your "mom" in camp if ya want. lol lol

Im so very sorry for loss of this great person. I didnt know him, but my thoughts and prayers go out to his family in friends in this time of sorrow.

Thanks for the update pete. I actually saw someone logged in under his name last night, I assumed it was his wife. Sent a PM looking for a update. Its good it sounds like his spirits are high. Sounds pretty serious at this point with the blood clots. Ill be praying for a speedy recovery. If there is anything I can do, let me know. Get better Jeff!!!!!

Glad to see you walked away with minor injuries. It was a good day!!! Not to start crap, but you cant live your life with WHAT IF. The way I look at things, no matter what your doing, or driving, riding, etc, when its your time, its your time. You gotta live life to the fullest while your here, cause whether we wanna admit it or not, LIFE IS SHORT. So enjoy it. Live every moment like its your last, cause you never know, it may very well be.

Yup, cell phones will work anywhere to a 911 call. I found that out a couple years ago when I got stuck out at amargosa and had no cell service. Got buried up to the frame of my hauler, and wasnt anyone around.

Good times for Turkey day weekend. The thanksgiving potluck was AWESOME!!! Im glad the weather was nice enough for us all to sit down together, made for a really great thanksgiving. My observations 1. Chris1223 ISNT a "BIG FAN" of peeps lookin for BOMBS!!!! :shoot: :smoker: 2. Gravy jars dont work as Sobe Bombs!!! 3. Need to limit washing dishes on long weekends, runs your hauler outta water! 4. Never let your teenager carry his housekeys in his jacket pocket when I wear it!! 5. Im apparently elected the DDR Miget/PLC!!! Im just a midget standing next to Ba Bert!! 6. The burb does awesome duning it out to Comp!! 7. Always bring TP to comp when your goin to party for a while!! 8. 9 digit makes an awesome bartender at Comp!!!! Woooo Hooooo, here Ill try that!!! mmmmmmmm 9. NO COMMENT ON PEOPLES BUSINESS. 10. Small camps ROCK!!! 11. crawlinx has loading stuff in his hauler down to a science!! He brought 9 bikes out!!! :shoot: 12. Flying burgers at peeps half asleep makes for great laughs! 13. Im bringing a few cans and also about 4 packets of turkey gravy to mix up!!! We should have plenty!!

Theres a place over on Nellis & Carey that I picked up 7 bundles for $20 today. Just FYI if anyone on the east side wants to pick some up. I looked for bigger logs couldnt really find any. Hopefully everyone brings a little so it might last for 4 nights.

Ill bring a big serving fork. Im also bringing to big carving knives. Also decided to make some deviled eggs for turkey day dinner. Most people usually like those!! What about thermomators (sp) for the turkeys? Do those come with the fryer setsup you guys are bringing?

I pull my 21 ft toyhauler with a 2500 Suburban and have some difficulties goin up big hills. Not sure you would be to safe pulling a bigger trailer with a smaller vehicle. If it gets to swaying, your goin to be in trouble. Be safe

Ok just an observation, but is anyone bringing any meat to the potluck for saturday?? I think the only thing I saw was hotdogs? anyone else bringing meat???

I have a big rubber maid storage tub I can fill up with wood and put in the hauler, let me know where its at and Ill load up!! Its goin to be fuggin cold at dumont, we are goin to need lots of firewood.

Goin to depend on the size of the bird pete. There should be a thawing chart on the outside. Mine is almost 15 lbs and im taking it out tomorrow and putting it in the fridge to be ready to fry thursday. =) Good times!!!
