Im with Freak & Cheese on this!! I always hate goin out, and coming home reeking of smoke. Its just NASTY!!! I always love goin to cali and not having to worry about sitting in a resturant with someones smoke getting to me. I think its a good thing. I do hate to see people loose their jobs over this, but thats really on the bars that are choosing smokers over their food servers. I think its been a long time coming!!

how much oil do those things take? Ill bring a turkey and oil if someone wants to cook the turkey? I dont know anything about those things, I heard they are kinda dangerous?

hmmmm, sounds a lil funny to me. how fashionable do they think "guys" are after being at the dunes for a couple days??? but Id say set something up, maybe DDR could get some funds out of this? put a lil reserve into it, ya know. Could be a beneficial thing financially for ddr?

So glad to hear he has been moved out of ICU. thats always a good sign. sounds like he is on the road to recovery. A long road it will be. it sounds like his family isnt local?? does anyone know if he has anyone here to check on him? being in ICU I believe only immediate family can visit, but I bet it would do a world of good for him to know the local duning family is here should he need us??

Its always sad to hear of fatalities at the dunes we all love so much. But Im a firm believer, it doesnt matter where you are or what your doing, when its your time, its your time. You might as well go doing something you love. I cant imagine sitting around in life not doin what I love cause im afraid of getting hurt. And believe me, I feel ya da burgh. If I got hurt, Id be screwed, im a single mother. But you just cant live life that way. Best thing you can do is be prepared by chance something was to happen!! Just my 02 cents!

i tried clickin on that nv link pete, but that website the font is SUPER SMALL on my computer. is it just me?? its so small its not legible. I didnt dump in tecopa on my way home, figured line would be super long. so I gotta find some place close to where my trailer is stored, nellis & lake mead? anyone ?? thought about takin it to that place out by the speedway, but their setup out there has a big hump in the line to get to the sewer dump, and my lines are to low and scrap. dont wanna try that route again??

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of this horrible accident. I dont have alot of cash right now, but Id like to help in any way I can. If there is a fund set up somewhere, Id like to make a contribution. Its just so terrible that someone has to be hurt or even worse in this case and loose their lives doing something they love.

Yes it is VERY SAD that people cant be responsible and pick up there own damn trash. Some of us DDR peeps went out to comp today and picked up 9 large trash bags full of trash people left out there after partying saturday night. Having a good time is one thing, but damn, pick up your own sh*t people. Also didnt think it was very cool people riding by as we were pickin up trash saying, thanks. would of been nice if they would of lended a hand or two!! Just my 02 cents! I know I was thinking probably wouldnt be enough. Im wondering if I should buy one of those jump start things or a battery charger to hook up on it out at dumont. goin to really suck to get all the way out there and not be able to even run lights cause I cant get my generator to kick on!
